This shop is nearly always busy with everyone from mothers with kids to students. A great place for the essentials such as plain tops, polos, t-shirts, boxers and socks. I'm a big fan of their hoodies which are a steal at 5 pounds each. Sweat pants are pretty cool too for only 2 pounds fifty.
Make sure you are not in a rush before you visit though as queues are usually rather large.

Of the Primark stores I have been in this one is definately the best for non-stressful shopping. Obviously its cheap and has some great clothes/shoes/accessories and underwear but more than that the staff are actually helpful and the store reasonably tidy. It is quite stuffy and queues long but its the price necessary for the bargains you get in there. The swimwear and underwear are definately some of the best I have seen and there is a great homewear section.
A huge store with a vast array of trendy clothing. Primark is very much about disposable fashion meaning the clothing is very cheap yet on trend. The shop floor often gets very messy and it once took me about half hour to find my size in a mountain of jeans!
This store has just been redone. It spans two floors and has everything you would ever want from clothes. They offer shoes, clothes and many other things. Overall the shop runs a lot better now than it did before.
As with all the other Primark stores I've been into this one is very large and divided in an orderly fashion making it easy to find what you are looking for. I found that it was tidier than some other Primark stores I have been into. However, it was heaving with people, and although I found some items I would be interested in buying, the queue for the changing room was so long that I could not be bothered to wait, and just bought a few small items that I knew should fit. Not a very fun shopping experience, but useful to find cheap, basic necessities.
Very good Branch of primark, very recently refurbished. The refurbishment has made a big improvement to the store, it is a lot more spacious and more organised than it used to be. This branch is spread out over two floors, and has a very nice range of clothing! Has a great accesories department. Lift and excalator facilities available to travel between floors.
This particular primark is rather large, with 2 floors. They have a wide ramge of male and female clothing, and a homeware section. Here you can buy cheap summer tops for as little as £3 and a pair of jeans for £10. The staff are a little rude in this branch though, and there is often clothing on the floor making it difficult to look around. It is ideal for students though, due to its low prices.
This primark store has recently been given a facelift and is now much brighter, lighter and cleaner. I am always impressed with the selection of clothes on offer in this store and nearly always end up buying lots whenever I go in, as its packed full of bargains. The queues at times can get quite big, but the check out staff are alway polite and apologise whenever the wait is long.
The stock is similar to most primarks, but at the minute the interior is awful, it is being refurbished so hopefully soon it will be good. The staff arent friendly and customer service doesnt exist, but a good thing is the cheap clothing, footwear and homeware which is essential for students!
Really good large store, currently being refurbished so it is a bit smaller at the miute. But a really great range bight and airy, lots of satff so queues kept fairly low and upstirs there is a large section dedicated to accersories.
I find that Primark takes designs from hight street stores and copies them. I think that the quality of the clothing is very poor and i find it falls apart after multiple usage.
The prices that they charge are cheap however this reflects the quality of the clothing. The stores are always messy and clothes sizes are always an issue.

I use to go here a lot but have now given up because its just too stressful, its boiling upstairs so take a fan with you. I was told I could return an item, waited in a huge queue finally got to the front to be told I couldn't. Seems disorganised.
The mens section in this primark is pretty big and you can get some good shirts and suit trousers for really decent prices. You can also get some good tshirts for a few pounds and the mens section is getting better and more fashionable as of late. Also great if you want some lounging about jogging bottoms as they only cost about £2.50!
One of the biggest primark stores i have been to with a wide selection of everything you could want with particular reference to a large accessory section. If you do not know primark then it is almost considered a cult especially amongst the student population in england due to its fashionable but extremely cheap clothes. In addtion the majority of clothes are made out of cotton. One must note though that despite them being cheap, the quality is not great but very good if you change your clothes seasonally. Also a must for fancy dress.
A large primark situated in the centre of town. The shop has a very wide range of clothing and accessories at amazingly cheap prices! The quality of the products are good and the design of the shop is well laid out, however can become very messy at times. I usually find that it gets very hot in there too. There are many helpful staff and I have found that I never have to queue for too long when paying for my items as the tills are usually well-staffed so the queue goes down quickly. The shop is laid out over two floors and is perfect for picking up a bargain!
This is a store which sells a very large range of clothes at discount prices. It is great for grabbing an item of clothing at the last minute without breaking the bank, and is especially useful for finding the odd bit of gear for say a costume for instance. However a lot of the clothes are made from the cheapest materials like acrylic for instance and so items of clothing you want to wear regularly Primark often is not the best choice.
A must for bargain clothes shoppers Primark has a wide range of cheap, but decent, clothing. Aswell as providing me with a wardrobe on a shoestring budget Primark is also useful for purchasing cheap clothing for fancy dress or party purposes, if theres something you need - Primark will have it!
Primark is probably Britains cheapest high street clothing retailer and walking into the store you can tell. Newcastles store is often untidy and cluttered and the staff appear overworked. there are also without fail massive queues for the checkouts and i have waited up to 10 minutes to buy an item of clothing. the standard of the clothes for the prices however is very good. its not the most pleasant of shopping experiences but worth a visit if you are a student in need pf an emergency piece of clothing or if you want to find the occasional bargain
I love the bargains you can in this shop! one of the only places a student can go shopping and not feel guilty at the till! The clothes won't last for ever, but you can always buy more! Worth noting that they are in the middle of refurbishing the store so delays at fitting rooms and tills are increased.
this place is bargin heaven. this branch is pretty big and you could spend ages looking around. theres often lots of pretty dresses for about £10 each. gorgeous pants and underwear for 1 or 2 pounds and loads of cheap bags and accessories.
At the minute this store is being refurbished so its a bit of a mess but it is normally really good. They get new stock in pretty much every day so your always bound to find a bargain when funds are running low!! The bits of the store that have been finished look really well, so should be even better than before when it is finished.
this store was recently refurbished and has a whole new layout!! its great for people on a tight budget and is located right next to haymarket metro. very popular with students
Going through some building work at the moment - Primark is a great place to shop with a wide selection of clothes that are suitably cheap for the quality of the clothes. Saying that, some of the dresses you find can be of very nice quality and fall between the 10 - 12 pounds mark. It's quite untidy inside, but the staff work hard to try and keep on top of it, the store is so big, and it's always terribly busy - but its always a nice place to go to find a bargain!
If you can brave the jumble sale and huge crowds then you should be able to find some good bargains in primark. good for last minute summer shopping. currently undergoing redevelopment so the store itself is a bit of a mess at the moment.
Cheap and cheerful this huge shop offers very affordable clothing and have a great line of basic t shirts for £2- they don't last long but are so cheap it doesn't matter. The shop is spacious however they are currently refurbising the shop which means in the hot summer there is no air conditioning. There also always huge queues which means you do have to wait a while. Hopefully when they have finished the reburishment the shop will be quicker and nicer place to shop.
If you can bear the sea of clothes and people, then primark is definately worth a visit. I have found many bargains there and it's the perfect shop for last minute holiday clothes. That being said, the clothes are not of the best quality, and the shop itself can leave you feeling tired and fed up because of the sheer effort to find your size amongst the piles of clothes.
This is definately the place to go if you are strapped for cash or hunting out those bargains. The hop is quite big offering a wide range of clothing shoes and accessories. The womans department is probably better than the mens. It is a good place to look for items for fancy dress as everything is just so cheap. It is a bit crowded at times and the quality isnt that good but when you pay £2 for a t shirt who really cares!
Primark is a great shop if your looking for clothes on a budget or generally just at a low price. This store is in the city center and is quite large it sells a variety of clothes shoes and accessories for both sexes which look and feel great! Staff are always friendly and happy to deal with any queries you may have.
Positives: primark is CHEAP! good range of clothing, lingerie, shoes and knick knacks, good place to buy cheap gifts, or that plain tshirt you need to wear that waistcoat with, good for filling up an empty wardrobe without spending too much money!
Negatives: crowded, not always good quality, jewellery tends to break quickly, you will see many people wearing the same top as you!
This particular branch is currently refurbishing so I would avoid it until the work is complete - its a bit of a mad house at the minute with too many crowds in a small space.

This Primark is an excellent stores for students looking for good quality but cheap clothes to buy to put off doing washing for another week, it has a massive range of clothes for all ages and for both males and females and you can find many cheap clothes you can style yourself for fancy dress parties.
Primark is renowned for its cheap, yet good quality clothing, that often has some environmental considerations in the making process. This Primark is very large and although it is a bit disorganized it does have an absolutely massive amount of stock in and caters for men, women and children alike. Quite a popular shop for teenagers and pensioners due to the low price of their goods. The amount of customers is absolutely massive however, and queue time even during the week is crazy, with large amount of students and pensioners shopping here during the day. The weekend is even worse, and you may end up queuing for a good quarter of an hour, which is annoying, but just an indicator of how popular this shop is, and what good value is offered.
Primark is known for its cheap prices which does reflect the quality of the clothes it sells however as many of the fashions in primark are very season lead you probably wont want to wear the clothes that long anyway. The queues in the Newcastle store are very long however they always have a lot of staff on so queues go down very fast. The womens wear is especially untidy however due to volume of people this is not really the fault of staff. Primark offers a very easy returns policy. This Primark is veyr large, over two floors and has extensive ranges of womens, mens and childrens clothing as well as shoes, accessories, sleepwear and lingerie.
