I have only been here when returning from a night out in town. It is brilliant as it is the only indian restraunt that I know stays open that late. The food is always good when drunk, but going for a nice indian meal I dont think it is the place to go, Akbars is much better. The outside is also quite tacky with it red neon sign

This place is the best, it's a curry house which provides take aways and table service till the early hours of the morning. The staff are fantastic and the food is really good. You get loads for your money as well!

I personally don't really rate this curry house. I think it's a prime example of a restaurant that is only surviving due to the high turnover of students in the area. This curry is just about edible at the time, but the next day you'll really regret going there, even if if is really cheap. I wouldn't get sucked in by the low prices, as later that night when you're stuck on the toliet, you'll be thinking it again!

So far my view of this establishment is not great. On my never ending hunt for a good indian take away in leeds I tired this place. I was not impressed... my food was cold and as such very overpriced for what it was! I would not recommend it to a friend, which is a shame as i have heard good things about eating in their resturant. They need to be careful that if they offer take out delivery service that they can provide the same quality they expect from their restaurant - first impressions count after all! They are lucky i havent quite writen them off yet.. i will try eating in the restaurant next time and see if i change my review!
The hunt for a good indian take out continues...

A good place to have a late night munch after a night out.
The curry is cheap and the popadoms are crisp...what more could you want.
I have heard that the take-aways can often be cold but whenever i have eaten in - the curry has been to a high standard

Yuck my overpriced curry was cold :-( I cant vouch for eating in, but when ordering a takeaway I found this to be a poor standard in comparisson to other local takeaways, I was dissapointed as I had heard other people enjoyed it - maybe because they were blind drunk not sitting in with ant and dec!?

Really cheap food, and huge portions. Considering the bargain price, the food is also actually really nice. Thr staff are really friendly, and after your first visit they give you a dicsount card which offers 25% off the price of a main meal for any subsequent visits.

this is a great place to go after a night out when you are feeling a little worse for wear and need something to sober you up before you go to sleep, the curry is not as good as some of its competitors such as tariqs but this doesnt really matter, you are not going here for fine dining but just something tasty and cheap, they seem to find students quite a novelty too which can be funny!

Agree with all of the below! A very drunken student friendly takeaway, which is open really late so you can pop in there if you have the late night munchies! The staff are a good crack and you always leave with a smile on your face!
