A really good student bookshop right beside Newcastle University. Blackwells stocks the majority of all the books you'll need for your course, all organised really well into subjects, and if you can't find what you need the sales assistants will always help and give you advice. However, it is much pricer to buy here than on amazon.co.uk - but it is so handy!!

Nothing wrong with the actual shop, its a nice setup with friendly staff and a wide range of textbooks. It's only problem is that you can get the same books online (like from amazon.co.uk) so much cheaper! Or so I found when it came to getting my books for university. There's also a few offers on for students at Blackwell's.

I wouldnt recommend buying books from Blackwells. They do have a range of university books, most of which are essential texts, but these can all be found for half the price online. I spent over £200 in here during freshers week, and my course friend bought the same books on amazon and it cost her half as much as what i paid.

This is a great bookshop to get your uni books. Its located right next to the university and you also get a discount card that gets stamped every time you spend £5 and eventually you get money off. If they run out of the book you need they will order them in and keep them for you and text you when it comes in. However before you buy from blackwells it might be worth checking amazon first to see if its cheaper.

Really handily located right by the university, this bookshop stocks almost all of the books you'll need for your course. It is a bit more expensive than other bookshops but you can get a reward card that offers money off after you've spent a certain amount.

Right next to the university of Newcastle, the store is very handy for picking up course books etc. They also display relevant course books on the university's reading lists separatley from others, usually on stands in the middle, rather than on the shelves. There is also the opportunity to purchase many second hand course books, which is great if you need to save money. However, I have found that they do charge more than in other bookshops, probably because the University plugs them to students so much. But, you may find that this is the only store for miles around which stocks some of the rarer books on your reading list!

this is a great bookstore that is located next to newcastle university. it offers packages to students on a variety of courses and also offers a loyalty card so if you buy a certain number of books then you will get money off your next purchase.

Blackwells is the main book supplier for students and it situated right next to the Newcastle student union. It is easy to find your way around with the clear signs and there is a large selection of books for each subject section. Prices are reasonbly expensive but then they would be anywhere you go for books.

This Blackwells is a students bookshop and has every book you could every possibly need for whichever course you are doing. The staff that work there are very knowledgable of their store and can help you find whichever book you are looking for though the store is easy to navigate your way around. Found round the corner from the Newcastle Student Union, the only negative to this Blackwells is that the books are pricey and it is sometimes worth just purchasing the books on a second hand online store such as Amazon.

This is a great book shop located on the newcastle university campus, directing their stock for the students at the university. It is great for ordering books in and the staff are really helpful. They also have a loyalty system which enables you to receive money off future purchases. The organisation of the book shop is brilliant as it is organised in subjects. Tables often having books labled 'Ist year reading list for English Literature' which is really helpful. I definately recommmend it to the students of newcastle!

Blackwells is also very useful to the student community in Newcastle because the sell second hand books so you can dispose of your used books for a price and for those with tight budgets you can get second hand books at good prices.

Blackwells stocks a wide range of books especially educational text books. It is situated in the city centre next to two large universities so it is very conviniently places. If a book is out of stock they will order it in for you and text you to tell you when it comes in stock. They do however already keep a large stock of some books if they know they are being reccommended by a university and there are going to be a lot of students needing them. They also sell other items such as items medical students will require, cards and mugs. They are reasonably priced and offer an award card where you save money when you get enough stamps which can be handy if you need to buy a lot of text books for university.
