cute little coffee shop. ideal for those dull winter days. lovely coffee, lovely atmosphere, lovely seating, sofas, background music, windows out onto the highstreet and gives you a feel of being at sea. it is beautiful
MmmI love those pasties! And the hot chocolates are fab too. They have nice comfy chairs upstairs, with a welcoming and warm atmosphere. Everything is quite expensive though, and if you go at off-peak times, everyone else can hear your conversations.
Nice little pasty shop, by the buttercross. In a prime location and nicely decorated, the dowstairs is for food and the upstairs has seating. Wide range of baked pasties, with alot of filling choice, including vegetarian. Prices are reasonable, if not a little on the expensive side, but the food is fresh and good quality. Staff are friendly and service is good and efficient. Food can be eaten in upstairs, or taken away, making it a great place for food whilst in the town.
great place to go and buy a something quick to eat there is a wide range of goods that are very well priced and it tastes good. i recommend the ice creams they taste really good!
A great food outlet in Winchester which is good for those chilly winter months when you feel like something hearty and hot to warm you up! The shop offers a range of meat and vegetarian pasties which can be eaten in or taken away and can be eaten hot or cold. Recommended.
This is great place the pasties are good and so are the hot chocolates there are comfy sofas upstairs and I have been many times with my friends and its definitely one of my favourite places to go when I visit winchester. The decoration is fun and the atmosphere is very chilled. The prices are good value, its not usually to busy and the service is fairly fast.
These pasties are absolutely delicious, with no stingy-ness on fillings. The prices are quite high, but it's worth it. The staff are quick and efficient and you can buy your pastie to takeaway or eat it upstairs.
Although this place offers good pastries and is resonably priced in comparison to some other similar establishments in the city, it is nothing special. The seating is not veyr comfortable and the stairs make it difficult for anyone with a pram or who struggles with mobility.
If you are a people watcher then the West Cornish Pasty Co ( I fondly refer to it as the pirate cafe) has the best window in the whole of Winchester in which to do it. It overlooks the high street and conveniently has a table next to it. Due to it being on the first floor you can pretty much watch undetected. for this reason and others ( the yummy pasties, coffee and fantastic guava juice which they stock there) it has become one of my favourite haunts. Due to the nature of pasties being pedominantly a take-away food the upstairs is extremely quiet and so a great location to work/study/revise. So if you are a people watcher check out the pirate cafe.
This is a lovely place to get a pasty or something hot and tasty! Service is really friendly and prices are nice and reasonable. The upstairs seating area is really nicely decorated with really comfortable chairs! It's a nice escape from the sometimes busy highstreet! I definitely recommend a visit!
A nice place that sells a range of delicious pastys and sausage rolls. The sofas upstairs are very comfy but I find that sometimes the staff don't clear the table. Overall though they have made it very cornish.

Very good deals along with friendly helpful waiters, i go here often for a quick lunch snack. Pretty healthy and serves a nice different range of foods.

great little place, they bring in their pasties made but they cook them instore. the sofas are upstairs and they are very comfortable and the upstairs is very well decorated. with a very cornwall feel to it. there is also a fairly large picture of a pirate on the wall and other nice touches for example the cornish newspapers they have.
I come here with my friends, it is really nice to just sit upstairs and chat in really comfy chairs! They do good hot chocolates and nice food!
Yummy pasties but quite expensive. It has a nice atmosphere, especially for a pasty place, and a good range of flavours. If you don't fancy paying the prices there's Presto opposite and Reeve the Baker nearby.
I love just coming here with my friends, buying hot chocolates and sitting in the really comfy chairs upstairs. It's really relaxing and the food is very tasty.
Quite expensive for pasties and baked good, but they give you a large portion to fill you up. Seating area on the second floor and a generally clean area and feels welcoming.
great pasties for a great price . also nice little room upstairs where u can sit on a sofa and eat. nice on a cold day just to go and sit in there.
You get a huge pasty for the money you spend, and its good quality food but some flavours are quite substantially more expensive than others. Theres a nice place to sit upstairs and its generally a good place to chill with your mates.
This is my fave place to sit and chat with friends, i find it fairly priced and the staff are all friendly!
I used to come after school every day beacuse the chairs upstairs are all so comfortable! It's a great place to chill!
the pasties are all really yummy aswell!

The food is tasty, and you get a large quantity but it's also quite expensive. However I really like the shop itself and the decor is really good - upstairs there's a very comfortable seating area which is rare in a pastry shop like it. It compares very favourably to places like Greggs.
I really like this shop, the food is of great quality and the staff are always eager to help. My favourite bit is the upstairs seating area; it is very contemporary, modern and quite cosy. A really relaxing place, which you wouldn't expect on the top of a pasty shop!
A lovely reminder of Cornwall (if a little expensive) The pasty's are always delicous but pricey, however you get what you pay for. When you stop in here make sure you pick up a hot drink too as they are equally superb.
Pasties end up being a little expensive, but the coffee is great and the upstairs seating area is second to none in Winchester. Really enjoy going to this cafe all the time with mates.
Expensive pasties but amazing hot chocolate. They have a great seating area upstairs that is decorated like a port in cornwall (surprisingly). the sofas are very comfy and usually easy to find a table.
