Booker is a wholesaler supplying caterers, retailers and other businesses. The warehouse is huge and easy to park outside on Sowton Industrial Estate and inside the products are essentially divided into retail or catering. At the moment Bookers is undergoing a much-needed refurbishment, it was all looking rather tired and dated and I hope the new look will make the different categories of retail or catering easier to identify. They may have been pressed into this by the arrival of Macro in Exeter and although I haven't done a price comparison Macro may have had the edge with a much larger range including clothes, furnishings and electrical.That said Bookers is very good for the essentials and I am delighted they are now offering an online shopping with delivery facility which I am looking forward to using.

I have just been back to Bookers and the refurbishment is now complete. Much better with products placed more logically so shopping is quicker. Completely forgot to go online but will try out next time.
