Having only been to John Lewis once, i was rather overwhelmed by the size of the store.
The layout was easy to follow and there were some lovely womenswear within the casual section.
The babywear section, had lots to choose from, but all at rather high prices, compared to other stores.
I did find on the visit i made, that the shop was very warm-infact a little to warm, to be trying clothes on and sifting through rails.
I would definatley need another visit in order to look at the sections that i didnt get a chance too, when i was there.

I find this store to be really highly priced, but then again it is good quality so you do pay for what you get, they have a wise range of nice things, just shame about the price.

John Lewis is one of the biggest stores in Southampton. It has lots of levels and has plenty of goods in there. They sell all sorts of stuff like kitchen tools to 42 inch hd tv's, to laptops, to childrens toys. It has everything you could possibly want there and that is the only store you need in Southampton.

John Lewis is a massive shop - the biggest one in west quay - spread out over two or three floors. It sells basically everything, from clothes to kitchen utensils. However, stuff is really expensive, but of a good quality i guess. The store is sparkling clean and shiney, and staff seem smart and keen to help. I would recommend shopping here if you have a lot of money!

A great shop not without its follies though. The shop is huge one of the biggest in Southampton with ample parking on a two store multi car park, which as far as im aware is free. The shop ranges on several floors and includes good food. However the prices are at best extortion, I brought the simplest light shade I could buy and that came to around £15. The staff are very helpful and always there to offer advice. Overall a nice place to be although I would not go buying anything in there again unless your wallet is bulging!

A fantastic shop, one of the biggest in the West Quay Centre, it's prices are good, and it stocks all the usual department store stuff, home furnishings, clothes, toys etc. They offer free delivery to the local area, although disappointingly this doesn't include to the Isle of Wight! Nevertheless, a good store, and worth a visit. They have good particularly good post-Christmas sales, I've found some lovely cheap packets of Christmas cards there.
