I recently have had a fantastic meal in here. The restaurant has had a sophisticated re-fit with granite flooring, atmospheric candle light and elegant furniture it has a great ambiance and is a refreshing far cry from the usual dark, dank and over patterned Indian restaurant interior. The service is prompt and polite and the menu is vast with some dishes being different from the run-of-the-mill you usually find. We had the garlic mushroom and butterfly king prawn starters to share which were both very tasty and well cooked, the king prawns are huge in this Indian, they are what I'd call proper king prawns as apposed to the usual medium sized prawns you receive in other restaurants. For the main I ordered the Tandoori king prawns with pilau rice and a plain naan to share and the prawns were of equal size to the starter and tasted incredible. Perfectly cooked, nicely presented and very reasonably priced. (check out the picture below) We had a bottle of Matius Rosss, two starters, two mains, a rice and naan to share and it came to just over 40, very reasonable, considering the rose was over 10. I adore Indian food and this was one of the best I have ever eaten!
