Oh I love this cinema so much. My boyfriend recently moved to Leeds and his house is about 3 minutes walking distance from VUE, so we've been making good use of the close distance and going to see lots of films whenever I go to visit him.
This particular cinema is great, it features massive screens and really comfy chairs, there's pleanty of room for everyone and the refreshments section is great... typically overpriced food though, but that's the same in any cinema!.
I really can't think of any negatives, every visit I've made to the Kirkstall road VUE has been enjoyable and I can't wait to go back again and again!.

This has to be my favorite cinema in the whole Leeds area. I think I like the fact they have ample free parking and its all on one leave so no stairs to climb. It is quite pricey 6.50 for an adult ticket but orange wednesday offer 2-1 tickets and kids am tickets start from 1.50 offering amazing value. It always clean and tidy has plently of toilets so your waiting. Be perpared to be ripped off if you plan to buy food hear I strongly suggest taking your own sweets.

Great cinema with around 12 screens. Shows lots of movies, but is quite pricey. Still a great place to take the kids to after bowling next door.

I went here yesterday to see a film and was very disappointed to see that all of the self service ticket machines were out of order. This meant that there was a massive queue to get tickets. I had arrived just in time for the adverts to start, but by the time I got in the cinema the film was starting! They really need to fix those machines! Also the food prices are absolutely extortionate so we took in our own food!

The Vue cinema in Kirkstall is large, modern and clean. The staff are helpful and the ticket prices are reasonable, particularly for students. As with all cinemas, food is overpriced, so stocking up on sweets beforehand is advised. There are now machines in the entrance that allow you to pick up pre-booked tickets or buy tickets with a debit or credit card, which cuts down queuing time. There is also the added bonus of free parking outside, and the other attractions in the same complex, including restaurants and bowling.

Vue cinema is personally the number one cinema for me. With plenty of screens, its can accomodate large crowds of people. They show the latest films and tickets are priced reasonably. Student discount is available, just ask at the desk.

This cinema is outside of the city centre, and so it is difficult to get to if you don't have a car, but if you do, its better to come here to avoid the crowds at the vue cinema in the city centre. It has the same wide range of food, sweets, drinks and nachos, and the student discount is good but otherwise the ticket prices are expensive. Thwe seats are nice and spacious and its a good expereience to come to the cinema at this one.

Great cinema, though queues for parking spaces and for the ticket booths so make sure there is time to get sweeties and popcorn to munch whilst watching your film! (these snacks tend to be pricey though, as with most cinemas). Only disadvantage is that you don't get assigned a specific seat when you buy your ticket, so it's a case of first come first served for seats. However, i think this is standard with alot of cinemas these days... Great location - and it is a walkable distance from Cardigan Road, so i do think it's accessible without a car!!

Without a car, it's virtually impossible to get to. WIth a car, you can be driving around for ages looking for a space to park! But this aside, the Vue here is actually quite a good one because the cinema screens are quite large and there are always plenty of good seats.

This vue is bit harder to get to without a car but is close by to a number of restaurants and bars. It is a decent sized one which is very much like the other vue cinemas, always good to get orange wednesdays if you can as it makes it significantly cheaper!

Interesting - they have the same problem in Exeter (or at least they used to). Last time I went the foyer was so full we just elbowed our way through and explained to the usher that there was no way we were queuing behind 500 people to get pre-paid tickets and they let us in, just in time for the start of the film, which was then interrupted for the next 20 minutes by those who had queued. They need to get a grip. I agree about food - you can easily pay a tenner for 2 ice-creams.
