Why don't we have something like Picard Surgeles (frozen foods) in England? Or perhas we do and I haven't discovered it, but I can't believe that Iceland is this good. There are lots and lots of Picard shops in Paris and they have a wonderful range of frozen foods, displayed in chest freezers around the store, all very clearly labelled. But it is the choice and quality of the frozen food that impressed me. Lots of frozen herbs for example, frozen chopped onions, frozen scallops, frozen red fruits, frozen apple puree to name but a few. Really impressive and all really useful stuff for doing your own cooking, not just horrid frozen meals.
