cant say i love this place, been to a few around the UK but this one seems to be the smallest one ive been to. There is always a funny smell like someone has been sick and it hasnt been cleaned up. The ques are usually so so busy to get in. But i have to say that the tunes are fantatsic and after a few drinks you dont notice the smell. Drinks little bit pricey but where isnt these days.

You can't not like Flares, great atmosphere, cheap prices and the cheesiest tunes! The multicoloured dancefloor is always full, and the DJ will play requests and give shout outs. In the summer they serve vodka slush too, which is an added bonus! Located in Matthew street it's right next to a load of other bars too, so it's never quiet! Can get a bit hot as it's downstairs, but if you have bad hair you can always buy a giant afro or a tinsel wig to cover it up! Seeing grown adults dancing around in the 70's accessories alone is worth going in for!

Its full of sleasy old men, but who cares, cheap drinks and super cheesy music, its awinning combination- worth the drop in if you are out on the tiles in Liverpool, a really good laugh, I highly recommend

Flares is always full of dirty old men, despite what city you are in. The decor is unique and gives character to the bar. The only thing that attracts students to this bar is the cheap drinks prices. They also sell a wide range of wigs, sunglasses and other accessories that everyone ends up buying before the end of the night is up.

Located on Liverpools famous Matthew street Flares remains a firm favorite for all those wanting a good night out!
Its got a huge dance floor and the drinks are really well priced. One of Liverpools best clubs in my opinion! Its always hilarous!

Flares is Flares, no matter which city you're in, you're always bound to have some happy drunkern times with cheesyyyyy 1970s music, over the top glam wigs, and a few killer disco moves. That said, I've not been to a better Flares in the country. The staff are dead friendly and up for a laugh here, which is always a plus at a bar like this. The midweek prices are also brilliant, with 1.50 a bottle on quite a few bottles, or only 2 pound for a branded vodka redbull, which is pretty amazing no matter where you are. The things behind the bar you can buy are amazing...a selection of wigs, funky 70s accessories are amazing and will only look better and better as the night goes on, a fantastic option to have when in a bar! Overall quality night out.

Every now and again i love a bit of a 70s night! This particular Flares is great. Its located on Mattew St in Liverpool city centre. Theres loads of space to dance and there are often drinks offers on at the weekends, not to mention the full range of 70s style wigs and glasses that are available to buy!! The staff are great, always friendly and quick to serve!
