Homebase is a large DIY store that sells pretty much everything you could need for your home! Everything from paint, lights, plants and sofas to sheds, nails, crockery and the kitchen sink!! Quite reasonably priced and you can save even more by applying for a Homebase 'spend and save' card. They also frequently have money off days (especially over bank holidays, etc). Look out for their large Christmas department opening up from autumn onwards.

Very large DIY and garden store with loads of parking. Should have everything you want, and staff are usually happy to give you a hand carrying heavy items to your car
