This is the ideal place to go before a night out in timpiece. It has a bit of a scummy interior tbh, and there is always a tramp sitting in the doorway opposite. However, there are lots of pool tables, which is always fun, and they do 2 for 1 offers on mixers on a thursday night. THis is always well worth knowing, as this is R&B night in timepiece which is very popular. One thing that slightly freaks me out though is the fact that the whole bar is covered in mirrors, therefore all the creepy chavs can check you out and stare as you are ordering a drink. All the chavvy girls like it though, as they just sit there doing their makeup. nice. There are plenty of big screens so that the boys can watch the football. The loos are disgusting though, not one of them in the ladies locks- they are a scummy beige colour and dont look like they have been cleaned for months. The door also opens the wrong way so you slam the person who is drying their hands in the face. then they turn around and try to smack you one(those are the type of people who go to hole in the wall)

Convenient to timepiece but not actually somewhere i would normally choose.

a nice place, to go but quiet and unpopular with crowds as it is a little expensive. If you are looking for a venue before moving on to timepiece thbis is ideal. I can suggest their Tequila rose!

This pub has no atmosphere, the decor is very clinical and (as someone already said) resembles more of sports bar where you can watch various sports on the TV's and projector screens spotted around the place. The place also has numerous pool tables, usually meaning you will always be able to find at least one to play on.The drinks are cheap, watch out for voucher books in freshers week if they do that again, they had buy one get one free deals on Fosters and various other drinks last year.

Hole in The Wall is found next to Timepiece and is a fairly standard sports bar. It is one of the best places in Exeter to go if you want to have a few drinks and play some pool, as it has plenty of pool tables upstairs, and you don't usually have to wait long for a game. Unfortunately it does not offer much more than this that you can't get elsewhere. The drinks aren't too expensive, but they certainly aren't cheap, and the food is pretty standard, unexciting pub grub. The atmosphere is typically quite good, it is usually fairly bustling, and there is music or sports played on the TV screens.

This pub is situated in a back street of Exeter town. From outside it looks rather small, but actually spans over a number of floors. On the top floor there is a bar, with seating and a number of pool tables and below there is an entire room of pool tables - good for those who fancy a few games. However, they have crammed rather too many into the one room, and you will find yourself in the way of others on a number of occassions. Also, the drinks are not cheap and the food menu also echos this. However, it is well prepared and there are a range of comfortable places to sit and enjoy.

Tucked away in a side street, this pub is a little gem. Good service and menu options, food is delivered promptly and presented really well. tastes great too. Lots of pool tables if you fancy your chances as a hustler - on the way up to the main bar, just off the staircase is a room full of pool tables, no bar unfortunately. Upstairs is where the food is served, a few squigy sofas and chairs, with decent music played low. Gets incrediably busy at the weekend.
