This place has always been busy when i've been here. There is a lot of pubs on George Street and this one isn't any better than others here. The building is nice, as it looks like an old building. I've heard this used to be a bank, but am unsure if that was right.
It is quite expensive for drinks, but that's probably because it is the city and at the main pub area. This is no more expensive or cheaper than the next pub.
Good, but sometimes a wait to get served.

Friendly atmosphere, bar staff were very good and the food was very good. The only downside to this place is that it is always very busy. Not the place to be when you want a quiet night out

This is a really great large Weatherspoons pub set in an old bank (you can even see the old safe door which is huge!). Drinks are very cheap compared to the rest of George Street so if you are going on a night out on George Street i suggest starting there to save a bit of money as other places in the area are much more expensive!

Very busy with drinkers and eaters! Loads of food to choose from the menu. Always busy at the weekend as its so popular and LARGE. Big screens which normally have football on, so not so good for the ladies! If you like a noisy lively pub then this ones for you. It can get very hot though when its packed out.

This is part of the Weatherspoons chain and is massive. The place is really big and situated in an old bank building i think. It has a bar that stretches basically the whole length of the pub. On the weekend when its busiest though it can take a little while to get served and people refuse to move out of the way when your carrying drinks which is a little annoying. Being a Weatherspoons there is food and well as drink. Never tried the food though.

This is a large bar situated on George Street in Edinburgh. It has a typically buzzing atmosphere and is usually fairly full of men and women of all ages. It is a good place to stock up on reasonably priced drinks before going to a club. However, it is often quite loud and so a smaller bar or pub nearby is often a better bet if you are planning on spending a lot of time drinking with friends.

situated on the very popular george street this bar is a great place to go for a drink and has a good, busy atmosphere at the weekend. the bar is area is very large and spacious. drink prices are reasonable and they serve cheap pub food during the day.

A great place for cheap drink and cheap food in the centre of Edinburgh, which can be hard to come by. It is huge inside but can still be packed out at weekends and especially when there is football/rugby on at the weekend due to the big screen there. Overall though a great place to relax and have drinks with mates

Situated on George Street, the standing order is a good place for cheap drinks. It is very busy at the weekend. They often show football and rugby. It can be quite rowdy at the weekend. Bar service can be slow. Full of older people. Often full of hen night and stag nights.

If I remember correctly the standing order is a Lloyds bar, which means it obviously is cheap and good for a night of drinking. They dont play any music in here, but its a really nice old place with lots of seating, a cool long bar and high ceilings. Theres also little corners if you want to hide away and its well located just behind Princes Street.
