My daughter's young event horse was referred here for suspectected stomach ulcers and back pain.

The horse was sedated and scoped with minimum trauma and stress in a calm atmosphere and a diagnosis was made within 20 mins which I was able to see myself on TV screen as endoscopy was being carried out. This was followed by X-rays to back from which again in approx 30 mins a diagnosis was made. I was shown x-rays immediately and problem explained along with future treatment.

Both the endoscopy and the x-rays were done by specialists and I was incredibly impressed with the speed and professionalism of their diagnosis which will be followed by a detailed report to my vet and myself. It's always a relief to get to the bottom of a health problem and be advised as to what to do next.

The clinic is easy to find with good access and parking for lorries. They also have stabling on site while horses are being treated or in rehab with trained veterinary nurses on site.

Luckily the horse is insured as the investigation was quite expensive and the treatment even more so. However, I feel this is precisely why insurance is worthwhile and am thrilled that the horse was able to get such first-class treatment so quickly. If only it were the same for humans!
