This is my local shop in Bradninch which also doubles as the Post Office and newsagent. It was taken over last year by a very friendly and hard-working couple who are doing their best to improve the shop from the tired old Spar that it used to be before. They also employ friendly staff and I always like to support it as much as I can. But the BEST thing about the shop is the excellent Post Office that maintains the same hours as the shop, which are seemingly endless, so you can buy stamps, car tax or another PO thing at any time of day, including Sundays. Fortunately it's not ear-marked for closure by this lunatic and short-sighted Government of ours but even so, if you dont want to lose, then USE it! The range of foods is quite good, but not much in the way of fresh food, although a decent range of frozen goodies which can always be handy if you're bored with going further afield. They also stock a lovely range of greetings cards, too.
