part of the swimming centre is harpers gym upstairs, for which membership can be bought for purely gym use or with swim as well. The gym is well kitted out with everything including cross trainers, running, steppers, rowing, and the scary heavier weight stuff, and those huge bouncey balls you roll about on. plus, a row of tvs with music videos playing to keep you entertained. is particularly good as the atmosphere is lovely, unlike other gyms,it isnt too intimidating, very relaxed ( as you can be in a gym) and the staff are friendly and happy to help you out. worth buying membership for otherwise its a fiver a go.

As with most swimming pools unless you are a member it can seem expensive paying £3.50 every time you want to go. They have a few good deals with signing up if you want to go on a regular basis and save money. They also do a student package. The main pool isn't massive but is big enough. There is also a baby pool. It does get busy at certain time such as after 5, as people go after work/ school and also during holidays. There is a small waiting area where you can watch people swimming.
I cannot review the gym as I have never used it. There is a big carpark attatched.
