oakdale is one of my favourate courses in the area, the fairways and greens are kept to a great standard the greens keepers do a great job to keep the course open in winter! the first nine is beatifull with some lovely par 3's and a couple of longish 5's. the back nine however i feel is a bit boring! the clubhouse is of a decent size serving cheap drinks and food. i reccomend the eggs oakdale! the worst thing about oakdale however is the members, often snobby especailly to juniours!

the golf course has itself is a good standard, slightly short but still challenging due to the slope of some of the wholes. the course is kept in good condition, the tee can become busy around lunchtime and early evening but apart from that it isnt too hard to get off. junior prices are especially good. The clubhouse has a snooker room and drinks are cheap with money off for members using a swipe card. food is also served in the clubhouse. overall a nice course and club.

This golf course is set on the outskirts of Harrogate. Its a short but picturesque course, which is well maintained and always in good condition. Prices are fair especially good for junior members. Membership seems to have declined recently but it means it is not too busy to get round.
