I have to say I am quite biased towards Cafe Nero as I am generally against all of the chain coffee shops like Cafe Nero, Costa, Starbucks etc....

There is nothing wrong with any of the branches except that they are often busy but I find that they are also very overpriced when you could get the same produce somewhere else for a much cheaper price.

A lovely cafe, conveniently located for shopping. It isn't huge inside but there is usually a spare table hidden away somewhere. The coffee selection is good and the cakes lovely, if slightly overpriced. It is also worth noting that you can choose a coffee made with one expresso shot rather than two if you prefer a weaker coffee

I used to hate this place before the smoking ban came into action, you might aswell have been itting in a chimney it was that smokey, since then however it has become a nicer environment but doesnt semm to have much business as many people have moved to e nicer and better placed starbucks just donw the road. Prices are slightly less than Starbucks but you dont get the same quality here.

Caf Nero has lost business since the smoking ban as it was a popular smokers caf. It dose have a nice outdoor seating area but competition in the area is high and Caf Nero doesnt appear to do that well. The staff arent too friendly and have a look of boredom about them. There are other options to cafes within every direction so in my opinion go elsewhere.

Cafe Nero is located on the main high street of Harrogate. The coffee cafe is particularly small and packed with tables where ever possible. This makes it hard to manovure especially with hot drinks. Prices are particularly high with a 20%price increase for eating in. It has improved since the smoking ban has been put in place but is still not as popular as surrounding competitors. It is not particularly clean and staff ae not too helpful.
