I personallly don't like NU bar, i have only been once but i wouldn't go again. The music played was all RnB which is not to my taste. I found the drinks expensive and the staff slow to serve people. I did like the free glow sticks and UV paint they put on for A-level results but that was the only benefit. When i went we only stayed half an hour before getting bored. NU is not a club I would recommend.

Nu Bar is handily located right in the centre of Leeds, and it is spread over 3 floors, although the ground floor and the first floor are very small, so most of the club is on the underground floor. The club is quite expensive and a bit dingy and somewhat dirty. The music isn't great, although the dance floor is quite large and can get quite packed. One good feature of this club is that there is room to talk away from the deafening music, but I would save my money for a better club.

Urgh, this place is horrible. I think they've cracked down on it a bit now, but it certainly used to let people in underage. It's smelly and unpleasant, quite rough and for want a better word 'chavvy'. There are so many better clubs in Leeds, I don't know how this one manages to keep going, to be honest.

I've only been to NU bar once, so this review probably isn't a great view of what this bar is really like, however considering i went on what was meant to be an A Level results party i have to say i was expecting better things. The music choices seemed a little odd considering it was such a huge night - it was mainly unknown hip-hop with very little chart stuff to get everyone singing and in my opinion is kinda killed the atmosphere a bit. Having said that the free glow paint was fun and the drinks were pretty resonable, so i wasn't really complaining! I'll have to go again to see what it is like on a normal night.

Although you do have to pay an admission fee, NU Bar is one of my favourite places to go in Leeds. They have a range of music playing throughout the club and low priced drinks, its always a laugh.

I went to nu bar on a visit with friends, i enjoyd the club the music was good and the drinks were cheap. However it was £6 to get in, but on a sturday this was not too bad. The club did get very hot though and this was unpleasant after a while, the club also seemed to get very busy. Overall i had a good night and i would go back again.

The NU bar isnt that great. The majority of people in this bar are underage. However, they do play a variety of music in each of the rooms, offering something different. The drinks proces arent that cheap either, and the bar staff are often rude to their customers.

This place is a bit of a nightmare. Its quite chavy and the whole place smells like vomit. It attracts a very young crowd who love to funnel loads of cheap liquor down their throats and vomit in corners. It does have cheap drinks but this doesnt make up for the fact you walk out smelling like a tramp.

As noted by someone else, a night out at NU can either be amazing or not that great. There are a few rooms with different music in so a chance to have a selection of music types, but the drinks are cheap tasting but not in terms of price. If you go on a night with lots of good friends and you know and enjoy the music it can be a good night.

This bar is a tricky one, Very hit or miss. You could have an amazing night one week, then the next have an awful one. I should imagine this depends very much on how much you make use of the ridiculously cheap drinks on the student nights. be warned though, the floor is wet and covered in glass, and a trip to a&e is not the best way to end an evening.
