This HMV is massive. It has a huge selection of cds both current and old which are sectioned into different genres. They also have loads of dvds and games and their prices are getting lower and lower to compete with supermarkets. The staff are really helpful if you cant find what you are looking for.

This HMV is enormous, with huge rows of CDs on the bottom floor sectioned into rock, chart, compilation, jazz, world, dance etc. Upstairs is a fantastic range of DVDs and video games. The staff are friendly and it's always very tidy and well organised. The sales are especially good, with DVD's sometimes as little as £2 (and they aren't the rubbish bargain bin ones either!)

This HMV is huge! Sells an unrivalled amount of CD's to anywhere else in NEwcastle, it has many of the classic albums available at 5 pounds with newer stuff often costing upwards of £12, there is a wide selection of DVD's and they also sell loads of cool posters.

This HMV is extremely large selling CDs, games, DVDs, books and clothing. It is located over two floors. It is very well stocked with current music and films as well as older music from pretty much every genre you can think of. Service is excellent and they accept student discount cards with the special HMV card. HMV can be more expensive for curent music and films than supermarkets but if you are looking for something a little different HMV is a good place to look.
