I ll have to agree the queues are absolutely massive and the staff dont seem to care. I went in there the other day and again just ended up walking out and going to the post office on brudenel road as it never gets too busy. However if your looking to change your money the change de bureau is the only empty counter worth visiting. I only go into this certain post office to change money at the moment.

This post office has the longest and slowest queues!! Even though they always have at least 3 or 4 of the counters open, the staff dont seem to be in any rush to get the queue moving!! It also sells the usual grim looking birthday cards and package materials, which look like they have been sat in the shelves for years!

This place seems to have the biggests queues in the entire world. I really don't know how they manage it - whatever time you go in you're guaranteed to be in at leat a 10 minute queue. It's located in the centre of headingley so it's not too far to walk for most students, but it's still a really depressing place. I suppose if you've got to post or receive a parcel it's your only option - unfortunately.

really depressing place! this post office is the only one in headingley which means you are forced there if you need to post a letter, there are constantly long queues and the staff always look bored and depressed, the shop is grim and smells a bit funny and the staff seem to have been told to sell you as many things as they can which means you are trapped even if in a hurry!

There never seem to be enough staff on here every time I go I have to queue for ages. When you do get served the staff don't really seem to know what options are available (I've been told different things every time i've been recently). Also when I went to get currency the lady who served wouldn't stop trying to sell me things!

Always busy and you have to queue for ages. Also if you just want to buy an envelope you have to queue for ages so best avoided unless necessary! Staff are helpful as long as you have queued and the mail sent from there always gets there ontime which is good.

post office in city centre, well located in st johns centre. Always very busy, with long queues, although staff are relatively friendly.Has usual post office produce with a camera printing dock, which never seems to work, but insists in taking your money. With no option of finding a member of staff to help.
