This is a good place if you want to pick up a bargain household item, its especially good for toiletries, like otherwise expensive branded shampoo's and things, and it had some really nice kitchen accesories, plastic plates and cups for bbq's, so its good for stocking seasonal thngs, but if you want something thats good quality and going to last then spend more money and go somewhere else.

Huge shop selling loads of cheap stuff for around the home. It's ideal for students on a tight budget as it's not a long walk from the uni and sells all the stuff that's not very exciting, but you do need every now and then - batteries, adaptors, stationery, lightbulbs, DIY supplies.

This store has a lot of floor space and endless aisles of cheap and tacky treasure. This is the perfect shop for students with kitchenware, household items and stationary all available under one roof at extraordinary low prices.

Probably one of the most tackiest shops ever to be seen on the streets of leeds. They sell a wide range of different products, including garden essentials to toothbrushes. I suppose students find poundstrecher useful when they run out of paper and pens and refuse to pay the prices in WHS. Nevertheless some people will find poundstrecher a dream come true, especially for babies/childrens clothes.

I always get confused in here... some items actually do cost more than pound! Anyway if your looking for cheap batteries, loo paper, ugly plastic gnome things and some general hideous household 'decoratove' bits and bobs then this is the place for you! Like Wilkinsons but cheaper and nastier...
