Summer is on its way so now is the perfect time to inject that little bit of sunshine into your wardrobe with the addition of those all important accessories.
Jewellery
ASOS for men have some great pieces at the moment including some chunky coloured metal rings in strong primary colours. They also feature a lot of multi-strap leather cuffs with chunky buckets and poppers. There is a large range of necklaces with similar trends to the women's this season with multi attachments, i.e. one chain and lots of bits. For women the trend appears to be the brighter and the bigger - the better! All styles seem quite chunky and colourful, with long chains and clumps of charms showing up in most retailers.
Accessorize has got some lovely summer jewellery coming in at the moment, again with chunky designs and a lot of natural materials like wood and shell appearing frequently.

Hats
The Trilby is still featuring very heavily for both men and women this season with brands such as Miss Sixty, Topshop and Ted Baker all designing their own.
Topman have a great range of trilby in a variety of colours and finishes, including Gingham, Pinstripe and a contrast colour straw style.
For women straw seems to be rather essential too, what with varying trilby designs, Miss Selfridge's Porkpie hats, some rather great looking large floppy straw hats and the ever-so-cool cowboy hat to really finish your outfit off.
ASOS is a great place to look at hats this season, but others include Accessorize, Dorothy Perkins and Next who have a surprisingly large 'hats for men' section with caps to suit any style: golfing hats, cowboy hats and much more, so check it out, you'll be pleasantly surprised boys!

Belts
For women this season's belts are quite decorative, with lots of buckle detailing showing up everywhere, butterflies and decorative clasps feature quite often and elastic is frequently seen with the intention that the belt be worn around the smallest part of your waist. There is a lot of very wide leather about at the moment usually coupled with studding and multiple buckle detailing. There also seems to be a lot of leather braiding this summer and an emphasis on brass buckles. For men there are a lot of geometric patterned leather belts about with polished buckles and varying material finishes. ASOS have got some great designs and bring various designers to you, making shopping easier.

Sunglasses
As we mentioned in an earlier HotTopic Fashion, this season's sunglasses are large, bold and cheerful. Aviators are still playing a huge part in this summer's eyewear look, for both men and women. It seems that size is everything with an emphasise on bold colours, particularly red, and a strong retro vibe running throughout with flat-topped square glasses and novelty shaped lenses popping up all over the place. Topshop and Topman and ASOS have a great range to suit any outfit or face shape. Topman has some great examples, the 'Red Plastic 1950's sunglasses' really sum up this season's must have style.
Bags
The bigger - the better is the rule of thumb here! Bags are a must have for this summer, soft leathers with buckle and hoop details are very popular and seem to be the standard design in the shops. Bold colours and patterns appear on daytime canvas shopper bags and soft leathers in bold colours appear throughout the hard to find smaller styles.
Going out bags are all quite sparkly with beads and sequins and again with buckles and poppers featuring heavily, and very long and narrow shaped purses are popular at the moment. A great shop for bags is New Look, simply due to their massive range and incredible value; their bags are separated into Fashion bags and purses and clutch!
