Ah yes, The Chelsea Flower Show is once again upon us, immaculate gardens, serene designs and a great excuse to have a cool glass of Pimms whilst watching the band on the lawns surrounded by horticultural excellence! If you want to know all the goss to impress your friends then carry on reading.

Tom Stuart-Smith's Laurent-Perrier Garden, which only features two colours, green and white, won the Best in Show award, this is Stuart-Smith's third best in show and sixth gold medal at Chelsea. "His scheme has a daringly minimalist colour scheme, 30-year-old hornbeams clipped in the shape of clouds and brimming-over zinc water tanks." (The Telegraph). Picture below:

The bookies favourite for Best in Show award was Andy Sturgeon's enormously complicated water garden for Cancer Research UK, although it only managed gold in the end:
