Festival Fashion

After last week's Hot Topic, you know where to go, you know when you can go and you even know what to take! Now it's time to find out the answer to the all-important question... 'what to wear?'

ITV.com

Agyness Deyne, the international catwalk model/budding pop star, has just released her very own festival fashion guide on ITV.com where she outlines her top five must-have essentials for any festival go-er. Her list includes: Wellies; an over-sized Kaftan; an across the shoulder bag, important because then it's hands-free (although I doubt we can all afford the Chanel Union Jack bag like Agyness!); a pair of Ray Bans and some red lippy to convert your daywear into nightwear. Now that's practical thinking! Click here to watch her video.

All the outfits are made up from items carefully selected from the vast and varied wardrobes of ASOS. GetLippy.com

Getlippy.com is the slightly more affordable version of other online fashion stores. As oinkoink says, "not a load of £1000+ handbags that most of us can only dream about." They have selected 22 items to make up their "best in camping chic..." list especially tailored for 2008's festival 'Fashionistas'! Displayed in an easy to view format they have selected items from the high street including: Long gladiator sandals from Warehouse; some lovely summer dresses from Miss Selfridge and Top Shop; a ra-ra skirt from Warehouse; a butterfly kaftan by Mathew Williamson; some funky flip-flops by Havainas and this Summer's essential, a straw trilby from ASOS. So lots of little gems there to choose from to add those practical yet essential pieces to your festival outfits.

Handbag.com

Handbag.com, as well as being "the ultimate girly website full of the latest fashions, celebrity gossip and beauty news" (oinkoink), have a very comprehensive festival fashion guide for 2008. They have guides for Glastonbury; the Isle of Wight festival; Bestival; T in the Park; The Big Chill and many others, so depending on where you're going there's every chance there'll be a fashion guide to aid your outfits. Glastonbury's guide includes: Hot pants from TopShop; A Kaftan dress from Monsoon; A funky tent from Millets and limited edition 'Water Aid' Hunters. You'll look the part and do your bit for charity.

The T in the Park's guide includes: a cotton dress from Top Shop; Coloured Neon glasses from New look; a stripy bag from ASOS; a very beautiful guitar/watch necklace by Marc Jacob and a neck scarf from Warehouse. So check it out and see if you're inspired!

Topshop.com

TOPSHOP online is also a big hit with our HelpHounders, abigail08 thinks it is "the least stressful experience you'll ever have. It cuts out the tension of rummaging through rails of clothes, queuing, battling through the crowds and prevents your feet from hurting"! TOPSHOP has highlighted some up and coming festivals and for each one have selected some essential fashion items. They cover Glastonbury, McCarren Pool, Benicassim, Love Box, V Festival, Reading/Leeds and Bestival. The items picked out for Glastonbury include: wellies (obviously); gladiator sandals; and this season's must-have, retro sunglasses. Click here to take a look at Glastonbury fashion line up.

For the Boys there's TOPMAN's festival shop. Where you'll find the latest fashion in hoodies; sunglasses; hats; cropped trousers; jeans; bags and T-shirts. They are all up for grabs, so click here and see what's on offer.

Newlook.co.uk

Unfortunately this is one just for the Girls, New Look has a 'Global festival ' fashion guide online at the moment which has a few selected items for festival attire. They've got cropped jeans, leopard print neck scarf, dip dye skirts, gladiator sandals, vest tops, belts and bags. They've selected a good range of clothing to suit most styles " a relaxed mix of festival girl and eclectic hippy", so click here to have a look.
