Aberdeen is special because of its striking coastline, beautiful rolling ocean, and rocky beach and cliffs! The moors are especially breathtaking!
There are several fascinating stone circles there as well, that are well worth a look at, in the nearby area, if you are interested in archeology. The coast is also something special to see here, and there is a Coastal trail, that takes you through several fishing villages, and ports. However, there are also stretches of empty coastline boasting spectacular cliffs, plenty of wildlife and of course the wet and wild sea wind! If you enjoy horse riding, and trekking like myself, then there is also the opportunity to go trekking in the Scottish highlands, where you can truly experience the wild and untamed beauty of this place. For more informations on trekking and riding in the Aberdeen area, you can search http://visitscotland.com for more information on this and a number of other sights and attractions to see there.
The only downside ,up in the highlands is the rain! But that is all part of the parcel up there! Just bring warm clothing regardless of the time of year, as the shifting weather and falling temperature is a factor to consider.

Aberdeen is a great place to go clothes shoping it has a variety of designer clothes that sell all different brands from adidas to versace. For the younger generation the night life is also good. Yo u also have a university their so their are plenty of students and cheap nights out . one thing i will say is its very grey.
Aberdeen is a fascinating, picturesque place to visit. There is a lovely beach, with seaside cliffs and many countryside walks you can indulge in, with family or friends. I came here last summer with my family, and i can honestly say i loved looking out at the sea in the glistening sunshine. There are also many attractions and art exhibits that will blow you away, as well as many highstreet and independent shops to browse in. Your sure to find many unique items to dress up your home. I think its a great place to visit, even if you only come here for a weekend, it will still capture your heart, the only downside as mentioned previsouly, is the weather, it does tend to rain alot, but dont let that put you off as if you dress up warmly, you''ll still enjoy everything Aberdeenshire has to offer.
Aberdeen is a great city with lots of things to do. There are plenty of shops in the centre of town, lots of large parks around the city for example the duthie park which not only has a playground but an extensive grass area where you can play football and there is also the winter gardens. Because there are two universities in Aberdeen the nightlife is good, there are loads of pubs and a handful of nightclubs.
There are a number of tousist attractions nearby for example the picturesqe Dunotter Castle and in the other direction Slains Castle. The weather is genrally cold all year round - there are a few nice days - so be prepared to take warm clothes!
Aberdeen is also a great base for visiting other cities as it is only just over an hour away from Dundee and just over 2 hours away from Edinburgh and the fishing village of Stonehaven is only about 20 minutes away by car.
