on 01/09/2008 by This is a pretty varied county in terms of towns and so on, and its neither the most expensive nor the cheapest house price wise compared to the other southern counties. Berkshire definitely has a bit of a london feel and theres a fair amount of culture for young people, with most towns having a few bars and attempting to play good music. Its all very varied, and has some good schools, I don''t rate the reading hospital though, but do enjoy the shops. I''d say that Windsor is the most touristy, and Reading has the best nightlife.
