Ballyclare is a nice town that is quite small. It is not really a holiday town as there is not very much in the way of shopping and entertainment. The place itself is ok and there are some lovely views of the countryside but it doesnt strike you as the most modern and up to date town. There are a few shops here and there but not really anywhere where you could go shopping for the day. There are some nice houses around but also some that are in need of repair.

Ballyclare doesnt really have much going on. The shops are all quite run down and many closed down. They are trying to get the town up and running again and have just opened an Asda store with cheap Petrol station. The is a quick fit tyres and a pet shop. There is a quality seconds and a couple of banks.
Ok if you are just visiting for asda nothing else there really.
