Rostrever is a quite little village right beside the sea.
I lived there for a few years and enjoyed it while i was there.
Each year they have a Festival called "The fiddlers green" where Irish music is celebrated. The village are all out in full swing dancing in the square to live Irish music while stalls adorn the side walks selling bits and pieces (weird and wonderful). Its very lively and entertaining. Down from that the Fairy Glen which is a beautuful place to walk, beside a park has lots to see in natural beauty. Situated beside Carlingford Lough this small village is charming with its cottages.
Steeped in between the Mourne mountains and natural beauty holiday makers like to come here. Bikers travel through on their journeys taking in the sightes and it holds a dear place in the hearts of people that live here.
Rostrevor is a magical place that is meant to be where the fairies live. If you ever get the chance come and see this village, go for a walk down fairy glen, across the park and sit in one of the many tradition irish pubs where irish live music is regulary played.
