Holsworthy is a market town, in the West of Devon and has hundreds of years of History. I have lived here for 4 years and really like it here.

In the town you will find places to eat and along with many pubs, charity shops, banks, clothes shops, chemist, newsagents, travel shop, post office, museum and 2 vets to name but a few shops you will find here! There are schools, medical centre and hospital and a library.

The Medical Center holds a baby group on a Monday afternoon and every Wednesday you can go along to the baby clinic and see the Health Visitors and get your little one weighed and chat about any worries you may have.

Every Wednesday, there is an outdoor market in the Square as well as the livestock market, which is one of the largest livestock markets in the South West of England.

The Memorial Hall has recently been done up and they hold all sorts of events there, including Wedding receptions, dinners, conferencees, dances etcc its all very modern and up to date in there now.

Overall Holsworthy isnnt the biggest of towns but has loads to do! In July every year we have St Peters Fair. This is a week full of all sorts of things to see and do. The funfair comes to town along with live music and family fun days and evenings.
