Verwood, a small town branching from its parent-town of Ringwood, is a highly residential area. With a distinct lack of shops, the town is mainly appealing to commuters with jobs in either Ringwood, or the larger Bournemouth and Southampton. Having said this, there is a Morrisons situated in the centre of Verwood, which is large enough to benefit from all multitude of offers found in the main stores, and be easily sufficient for all local shopper''s needs. The area does suffer from a noticable youth culture difference from other nearby towns, with unsociable groups of youngsters often seen hanging around particularly near Morrisons throughout the day and evening, which could seem slightly threatening to elderly people.
