Battle is an awesome little town, that has so much to offer. The main focus of the town is the huge castle that is in the very centre of the town. There are often fireworks parties and fetes and festivals in the castle grounds. There are so many lovely little places to sit down and while the hours away. You simply must eat here as most of the restaurants are second to none. One of my friends used to live in this historic town so i have been here alot. Just outside the main hubub is a playing field where there are always goal posts up and there is also a playground in it as well. Every other weekend there is a lovely farmers market where local cuisine is on offer and the oppurtunity to buy lots of different food veg and other crafty little nik naks. Overall definately worth a trip just to see the castle alone.
