I have only just recently moved out of brighton but previous to this I lived in brighton since i was a baby. i lived there for 25 years and loved brighton and still do.
There is just so much to do and see. the nightlife is fantastic with a lot of nightsclubs including tru, oceana, the beach club, the honey club to name but a few.
there are many nice bars to have lunch in especially the ones overlooking the sea.
the brighton pier is also a fabulous place to go for a day out, there are lots of rides, amusements and fairground style stalls where you can win teddys...ect
everywhere you turn there is a shop so you never have to go far.
the town centre has a wonderfull mall called churchill square shopping centre, with a variety of shops and restaurants.
there are many beaches unfortunately not sandy unless the tide is right out and that is usually at night times!
Also in brighton are the famous brighton lanes which are lovely to stroll through.
they have an assortement of wonderfull little shops and restaurants, a definate recommendation if you are visiting brighton.
All in all brighton is a wonderfull city and i am proud to say that i was born and bread there.
I still go into brighton at least twice a week now as there is so much to do and lots of entertainment for my 9 year old daughter as well as myself.
There is also alot of history in brighton including the royal pavillion, that in itself is a great day out.

Since my sister started Uni. she has made loads of new friends up and down the country. Brighton is in my top ten places that we tend to visit. I donnt know what it is about Brighton so many different cultures its just a wonderful place to visit. The city itself is very clean and well maintained by the local council. Brighton has a very well organised public transport system. With Sussex Uni. being just a short distance away there are always hundreds of students out and about.
Brighton has always been a popular holiday resort, there is more or less anything that you could want at Brighton why go to Spain Brighton has it all (when the sun does show that is)
Plenty of shops, hotels, craft shops, amusement arcades, pubs, restaurants. Night life is great down there. Seems the Blackpool of the south in that it attracts those on hen or stag nights. I have to admit I have seen some sights on these occasions and next visit I will have my camera with me. Brighton is just a great place to visit.

Brighton is my most favorite place to be.
I love all the shops down the lanes. They are really unique private businesses that cannot be found anywhere else. They have all the common shops such as Topshop, BHS, Boots along with many many more but the little unique shops are the best.
There are many many restaurants in the town centre to choose from and you can eat anything from pub grub to a chinese meal. There is a lovely cinema.
Down on the sea front there are many things to do. You can visit the pier and go on all the rides, although these are quite expensive. They have amusements and many things to entertain down on the pier including some little shops. If you are down there though you much try the little chinese hut which is beautiful!!
There are many little sea food stalls down on the sea front which offer beautiful fresh sea food and in the summer it is lovely to sit on the pebble beach and eat it but beware of the sea gulls as they are massive!
There are many hotels you can choose from if you are visiting Brigton and you can get some great deals on some of them. If you are driving though the car parks can be expensive but at least they are there.
Be sure to visit the Marina as well as it is great to see all the boats and it is only a short drive from the sea front. They have some lovely restaurants down there.
The people in Brighton are really pleasant and welcoming and always very pleased for the business in their busy little town. It is lovely for a holiday or a short stay or just a day out. Be sure to check out all the things they have going on down there as well as sometimes they have sopme special weekends where there is some great things going on down there.

Brighton. Oh my god. Where to start. It one of the most populal sea side destinations to venture too in Britian, alongside Blackpool, Scarborough and Bridlington. Brighton is such a viberant town to be in, with much to see and do. Ill point out the main feature, the beach. It stretches over two miles, its beautiful. I come here during the summer usually for a day or three. During the day you can expect the town to be busy and full of locals and tourists. The nightlife is out of this world, its so lively. There are many bars, pubs and clubs, and as mentioned in many of reviews it is the number one destination for gay people. Brighton pride is meant to be the best event in summer across Britain. As well as the beach and the nightlife, there are many toursits attractions to visit, just pick up a leaftlet and check out all the many places you can vist and acticities you can carry out.

Is a proper seaside place and id say thats why it is as popular as it is with so many different cultures, With million''s Of visitors travelling from all over the uk each yr year with shows something doesnt it, The beaches remind me being abroad, With all the bars, Resturants and even the nightclubs The things brighton has that spain doesnt are the arcades which has gotta be every kids fauroite haunt being big kids also . Being in easy access from London via train is also great , The prices for hotels , chalets and even caravans are goodish prices and as ive said before whatever the budget theres something for everyone, Brighton pier has gotta be famous hasnt it its spoken about so often , There is plenty of swimming pools around so plenty of swimming to do, The children wil love all the activities around visiting the sealife centre is a must, The uni in brighton is highly recommend to students wishing to take on the great things that could happen for them.

Brighton, outside of London, must be Brighton''s most cosmopolitan place. In all areas, it has something for everyone''s taste. You could be talking about food, nights out, clothing, sport, housing and more. The place is so diverse and has unlimited energy because of it. I''ve probably been to Brighton 30 times and I honestly never get bored of it.
The fact that it is so close to London probably brings even more diversity here. Still, it isn''t London, it is its'' own place and is one of a kind. The pace during the day rivals London. There is a buzz here with all the workers and shoppers.
If you want more history on a day out, you can venture to nearby Lewis. Henry the 2nd lost a battle here. I got lost driving here and enjoyed the view, even if I wasn''t anywhere near where I should have been.
If you don''t want to be in the town but would like to be near enough to walk in or take a quick taxi, you can always stay either on the road into Brighton (decent barain locations just after you get off the motorway) or you can stay in nearby Hove.
One bit of advice, if you fancy a decent meal, look out for some of the smaller locations 10-15 minute walk from town. There you''ll get a few pleasant suprises and excellent value for money. Worth just having a walk around to see what you bump into.

Brighton is one of the best cities in the UK. It has a really good beach, which obviously makes summer a very good time to be there. There is a pier with some really good rides on the seafront. Brighton is perhaps really famous for the nightlife. The seafront has some amazing clubs and makes for an ideal location. There is a very large student presence in the town because of the university. In addition to Brighton, Sussex university is only 3 or 4 miles away and there are thousands of students about. Brighton is also great for eating out. It caters for all tastes from a bag of chips on a restaurant right up to fine dining. The shopping is also something well worth visiting for. There is great shopping centre and high street that has all the usual shops you would expect to see. As well as this there is an area called the lanes, which has many individual and boutique shops. These are definitely well worth visitng as you can find things that you maybe couldn''t buy elsewhere in the UK.

Brighton is very much an open minded city- no two people are the same and its great!! You can be who you like when you like and you will never be judged!
The nightlife in brighton is superb although it attracts many hen and stag nights- west street on a saturday night can get very messy! Tru nightclub on the seafront is fab- having several different rooms offering different tastes in music. If you are looking for somewhere for the over 25s though i would say go to any of the clubs down on the seafront under the arches, they are much more hyped to the sort of people that dont get asked for id and the best thing ever is coming out of the club and lounging on the beach at 2am with a donut! yes there is a donut stall on the beach open this late-genius!!
There is plenty of shopping to be done in Brighton- whether you are after little boutiques in the lanes or high street fashion in churchill square- everyone is catered for. Restaurants are also in their plenty, the better ones being in the laines.
The are many tourist attractions to visit- the sealife centre, pavillion, pier and marina to name just a few.
Summer in Brighton can get very busy but thats all part of the fun and adds to the atmosphere. Gay pride is not to be missed and is a wicked day out for everyone, young and old.

Brighton is a vibrant seaside town and it is easy to see the Victorian influence on it.
Most famous for its pier and the Pavillion, Brighton is very much labelled as a tourist town. However, beneath this facade, it is a rather run down and worn town. It is full of traffic, and doesn''''t have much in the way of beautiful scenery. Even the beach is stone and the sea isn''''t that beautiful to look at. The pier has a good range of attractions that make it a fun thing to do, especially for children. In the middle there is a large arcade and at the end of the pier there is a small amusement park. The Pavillion also is a good site to visit. It has a very Indian theme acquired from the Victorian''''s fascination with India, at the time being a recent expansion of the British Empire. However, even this is less than remarkable and doesn''''t really leave a lasting impression. The only really good thing about Brighton is the night life but that is not really to everyone''s taste. Therefore it is, in my opinion, a fairly average seaside town.
Brighton is definitely worth a visit, and gets the tourists because of this, but it doesn''''t really call you back.

I love visiting Brighton, there is something for everyone here. The sealife centre is bigger than their Hastings branch and therefore a lot better. On the sea front there are bungee trampolines that I desperately want to have a go on, but I am too scared the kids will show me up!!. The hotels along the front are numerous and varied in price and stars, we stayed in one of the very nice ones a few years back and I would stay there again if only I could remember what it was called!.
In the town the Laines are popular for being historical and pretty with loads of quirky stores to mett the uni students needs as Brighton is like the new London there is a huge gay community here too.
Easy to get to with loads to do on the beach front as well as in the town I would receommend this as a fun day out for all ages and genre!
