Hove of course is part of the city- Brighton and Hove. It is the quiter side of life in the city but still has many quality features.
Hove park is located west of Hove and is lovely for a day out realxing in the sun with its mini railway, tennis courts, large kiddies park and so many picnic benches to dine on. There is a retail park located across the road from the park so whilst the kiddies are in the park you can indulge in some retail therapy!
Hove lawns are also amazing. In the summer you will often see large groups of people kicking a ball about (ignoring the no ball games sign!) and enjoying a bbq.
There are also more historic places to visit in Hove such as foredown tower and hove manor. These are some of Hoves little treasures and are well worth a visit on a lazy sunday afternoon. Hove also has quite a few nice hotels, many cheaper than in Brighton although Brigton is less than a 10 minute bus ride away. The buses run regularly and you can get a day saver ticket for 3.50 so can hop and off freely.
George street is pedestrianised and has some great shops and cafes. Again this is the quieter end of the city and so isnt as bustling as brighton so shopping seems to be a lot calmer and enjoyable.
