An interesting place! Around an hour by train from Brighton which means a large amount of people who live there commute to Brighton and Seaford. The first thing which strikes you is that Seaford is a struggling seaside resort. Central to the town is the sea. The beach resembles a building site, with diggers on the beach to keep the stones up, which stops the town from getting flooded by the sea. Nonetheless there is a nice large promenade which you can walk along whilst looking at the sea. As you walk along the beach you will see a number of interesting things, a round building which is now a museum about the area and cliffs, which eventually stop you from walking along the promenade. To me Seaford is somewhere that needs investment, it seems a little tired but I am sure with more tourists and money spent on it it could well become a great place to visit. There are however some brilliant breathtaking views if you walk to the cliff tops. I sat up there and had a picnic which I got from a rather large Morrisons which is situated to the right as you come out of the train station, I would recommend this however I am sure on a windy rainy day you would be better off having a nice cream tea!
