Kinghorn, the place I have lived for my whole 28 years of my life - until I upped and left a few months ago and went to the next town along Kirkcaldy.
Kinghorn is nice. It is known as a large village and it has 2 beaches, a great view of the river forth and that's about it. It has 1 chinese, 1 chip shop, 1 Co op, a goodnews mini mart, a bank, a chemist, a tea shop, a bakers and 3 pubs.
I would say from start to end it is about 1 mile long and supposedly it has about 4000 residents. That sounds a lot for here!
It is on the main train line to go to Edinburgh and is 40 minutes away, if you get the train on the opposite side it goes to Dundee, so it is well placed for commuters.
Nice and peaceful.
