Merthyr Tydfil is gradually becoming better, there is currently a new swimming pool and 8 screen cinema being built. Town has loads of shops and there is a huge Tesco with multi-story parking close to town. The area is beautiful and well kept. There is plenty to do, but if you want to go to a bigger town Swansea and Cardiff are not far away by either car or train. A nice town, with a bit of history. A lovely place to visit.
