If you suffer from motion sickness, Stroud might not be it for you. The drive is up and around and down and up. Once you get there, is hard not to enjoy the place. It can be like going back in time. Although shopping and clubbing are limited, there are plenty of pubs to stop in to. I would say it is a place to stay for a meal a stroll and then be on your way. Whatever the reason, if you have to be there on time be sure to set off early as traffic can build up at peak times.

Whenever I''ve gone, I''ve always tried to be early and have breakfast there. It''s a good opportunity to sit down with a pot of coffee, scone and to people watch. I know a lot of people will want more excitement than that but to each there own. I enjoyed Stroud.
