Brading is a very small village that is situated just out of Sandown on the Isle of Wight. There is not an awful lot to do in this town and I think that is why alot of people love it, as it is peaceful, quite and unspoilt. There are lots of tiny cottage homes in Brading along small winding roads where the speed limit barely exceeds 30 miles an hour. The shops that you will see are local shops run by local business men and families, and are no more that the basic shops like newsagents, post office and a spar. You will find a few local pubs with a fantastic friendly atmosphere, the sort where the barman will tell you his life story. Despite the quite reputation that the town has aquired, one of the biggest attractions on the Isle of Wight is situated here, the Brading Experience as it is now know, which was once known at the Wax Works. Which is a smaller version of the Wax museum on the mainland. It is a great place to go as they have lots of famous characters from the past depicted in wax shown as you would have seen them in their day. It is not too expensive to get in and it can be really fun. I would love to live in this town as long as you have transport too and from as you would need to leave the town to get to work, to the shops and for all other day to day things.
