Brighstone is a lovely little town on the Isle of Wight that is made up of lots of countryside and windy country roads. It tends to be full of quite wealthy families as the houses are all very big with big gardens and quite often a plot of land. House prices are quite high compared to the rest of the Isle of Wight. There is a great pub called The Three Bishops which is great for a meal with the whole family or simply for a drink with friends. There is not a lot to do socially in Brighstone, especially for children and teenagers, however the capital of the Isle of Wight is only a short bus ride away so you are never too far from something to do. If you fancy a nice relaxing holiday then somewhere like Brighstone is a great place to take it. There are plenty of Bed and Breakfasts around Brighstone due to its idyllic setting and plenty of places to take a lovely walk in the countryside. A lot of people tend to retire in Brighstone so that they can live a quiet easy life. A highly recommended place to go.
