Lutterworth is a lovely little place it is so peaceful and friendly surrounded by countryside its a lovely place to go for a relaxing walk etc. There are enough little shops and a couple of pubs here to keep you occupied and also a museum, however its not that far from leicester city centre. People are ever so friendly but i must admit if your new to this place you will be recognised as everybody does seem to know each other.

Lutterworth is a small market town between Rugby and Leicester. It would be a really nice place to live as it is fairly quiet and is still surrounded by greenery. They have a lovely selection of small shops, pubs and restaurants so you could just about find most things you need from here. They also have a regular market selling all sorts f wonderful goods. I think to live here you would need to drive though as it has no nightlife at all and no train station. You would need to travel outside of the town to get major shopping or night life. Overall a nice quiet town.

Lutterworth is a really nice place in Leicester. I went to stay with a friend for a weekend in Husbands Bosworth which is a small village in Lutterworth. Its such a lovely place to visit, very quiet and relaxing and everyone seems to know everyone else. There is countryside all around the village and it is beautiful, a very different scene from city life. We went for drink in the local pub (I think its the only one there) and everyone was really friendly and talkative and the drinks were cheap! There are hardly any cars on the road, its a really peaceful place and I have to admit, if I could drive (so I could get back into the city when I wanted to) .....I would love to live here!
the town has some really nice places to sight see as well. All Saints Church is really nice and has some beautiful stain glass windows. And Millennium Wood is really nice to go for a nature walk. It has a large pond where you can feed the ducks.
There is a lot of history too such as the Bosworth Witches, Grand Union Canal and the Aerodrome aswell as a really beautiful war memorial.

As a place to live Lutterworth is very nice, it is a small market town located in South Leicestershire. The location of Lutterworth is very good; it is located at junction 20 of the M1 and is close to the M6. Lutterworth has a small amount of shops and places to eat/drink, but most of these are independent retailers or pubs, adding to the quieter town nature. I like the area of Lutterworth and being able to see fields from my window is one of the features that I like, however being a student there is little to do. The only activities for students or younger people is going to the traditional pubs (with their high prices) or travelling to another place to go out and have fun. The town also lacks some general amenities that a town of this size would require, such as bookshop, any high street clothes store, music or entertainment store and coffee shops or restaurants. It does mean that most of the time you do have to travel to Rugby or Leicester to access these amenities or leisure activities. Also Lutterworth does not have a train station and there are only a few buses which pass through the town, so it is quite a necessity to have a car when living in this town. Overall I enjoy the quiet village like feel that Lutterworth has, and its traditional events such as the carnival always bring the town together. For a modern day family or older children there are little activities to do in the town, but it is a very accessible place, and within a short drive there are plenty of larger towns/cities.

lutterworth is a small town, about 15 miles, south of leicester. I have lived here for about six years now and in my opinion its not a bad place to live, it can be abit quiet sometimes and it does lack ceratin things, but all in all it has all the basic things you need in a town, from supermarkets, pubs, it has the lot.
