Lincolnshire is a big county on the east coast of England.
Lincolnshire has produced a fair few "celebrities" from Issaac Newton to Abi Titmuss, Alfred Lord Tennyson to Margaret Thatcher, and has also been a filming location for many blockbuster movies - The Haunting was filmed at Harlaxton Manor, Da Vinci Code was filmed at Lincolns Cathedral, Pride & Prejudice and Middlemarch also filmed in Lincolnshire.
Lincolnshire is full of deep History and culture, and has some breath-taking architecture - some hidden and some on show, Sleaford is home to St Denys church which has one of the oldest Spires in history, and Boston is home to St Botolphs Church with its famout 271ft tower - which can be seen for miles and miles on a clear sunny day.
There are many Castle remnants located throughout the county. Lincolnshire is also a very busy county for the RAF with many bases dotted about throught the county too, RAF Cranwell being home to Prince Williams training recently. Scampton is also home to the famous Red Arrows.
The very popular Skegness is also home in Lincolnshire, sitting on the coast to the North Sea - it is having a Wind farm built a few miles out to sea - a spectacular site.
The film The Dambusters was also filmed in Lincolnshire - which the procedes bought a mechanism for Lincoln Cathedrals bells.
Lincolnshire is a very cultrual and full of arts and crafts.
The main work here is agriculture, land work is a big source of work for locals and workers from abroad. It is also home to one of the biggest chicken providers in the country - providing chickens to fast food restaurants and supermarkets.
Lincolnshire is full of beautiful countryside, whethere you''re into rambling or like a nice long drive - there are plenty of sights to see.
Shopping is pretty good - with bigger places like Lincoln and Springfields shopping centre providing a haven for shopoholics.
Grantham also provides rail connections to the North West, Scotland, the midlands and London.

Lincolnshire is a beautiful agricultural county with lots to see and do in Lincolnshire, Lincolnshire is in the east of England and of course has a lovely east coast which IIm sure many of you will have heard things about Skegness good or bad it is a nice place to visit, there is so much that is good about Lincolnshire, for a few examples, there is RAF Waddington which has a fantastic air show in July help over 2 days it is superb and so interesting, even if the weather is not that great, this year when I went it was pouring but still had a great time and cannt wait for next year, there is RAF Cranwell where Price William did some training here, Lincolnshire has had a few celebrities in the past, there was Sir Isaac Newton, Margret Thatcher, Abi Titmis, and many more IIm sure.
Grantham is well known for its excellent rail connection and therefore is a very popular town for commuters.
There is a wind farm that is built out to sea and it is stunning, I know some people have problems with wind farms but I think there such a lovely view and are worthwhile for the present and future.
Lincoln Cathedral is so stunning and well worth a visit to Lincoln to walk around the Cathedral, the Da Vinci Code was also part filmed around here.
Farming is a very large part of Lincolnshire and this shows with all the well kept fields and countryside, I love Lincolnshirees countryside and hope we manage to keep hold of it for a while yet!.

Personally i think when you visit Lincolnshire there is so much for you to do and enjoy.
