I think London is an amassing place to visit! The vibe is very busy and theres such a mix of people around. Such a range of different places to go and see also! Whatever you feel like doing you will most likely be able to do it in this city! Im sure if you live in England you are already aware of this however.

London is well known for being one of the most vibrant and exciting cities in the world. I am lucky enoguh to live in it and I couldn't be fonder of the city. Yes, it does have it's faults such as the crowded tubes and the price but it is so beautiful and such fun. Great nightlife, restaurants, shops,people...what more could you want??

London has its ups and down. As its the capital is very very expensive, both to live and buy property. Even renting is above the average salary. Therefore you have to budget a lot unless your a city type earning loads. Its quite rough in some areas but you get that in any city. Theres so much to do in London. Firstly the touristy attractions, like the London Eye, Dungeons, River trips, Big Ben, Tower Bridge. Even travelling on the tube is exciting for newcomers to the city. I personally go to Oxford street for good shopping, as the stores are so much large than in any other city. Theres also loads of resturants and bars around the city. A good place to go on a night out is Soho as its quite odd and has loads of cool bars. Theres so much history to the city and a great place to find out things about world war 2 is St Pauls Cathedral as it nearly burnt down and its so interesting to talk to the volunteers there about it. Just save loads of money before you visit as theres so much to do and so little time and money!

London is the capital city of England and because of this it is increibly busy and the lifestyle is very hectic. This suits some yet not all. My two favourite locations in London are Camden and Oxford Street. This is because they both offer incredible shopping experiences yet are totally different. Oxford Street contains all the high street shops and a massive Topshop which are fab but perhaps a bit generic. Camden hosts Camden Market which sells a variety of querky non high street items. It also hosts 'on the street' food vendors which sell delicious hot foods prepared in front of you from a variety of countires. It is very easy to get from one place to another without a car on the underground and bus service. London is also dispersed with green parks such as Hyde Park which is a personal favourite and often hosts music events. London is a very cultural city offering old historical classics such as Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and the tourists most popular site Buckingham Palace. However, there are also modern attraction such as the London Eye offering panoramic views across the city and the Tate Modern art gallery which houses a mixture of old and new.

London is a very big and hectic city that is the capital of England. There are a large number of areas and it is really a great and busy day out when you visit. There is so much to see and do from the Wembley stadium to Buckingham Palace and there are also a large number of shops. The bus services are great with frequent buses going around London and the Underground is also very efficient. There are a number of historical places to visit in London like the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben whilst the new addition of the London Eye is also worth visiting. Even though the house prices are very high London is still a very popular place to live.

There are two sides to London, the side you see when you live there and the side you see as a tourist. I've never lived there myself but I have friends who are students in London. The living costs are astronomical, with them paying more than double what I pay for my student accommodation, and nights out costing a ridiculous amount of money as prices for things like drinks are through the roof in most clubs and bars compared to other parts of the country. On the other hand, as a place to visit for a day or so it is an amazing city full of amazing sites to see, from modern sites such as the London Eye to historical attractions such as the Tower of London. My personal favourite thing to see is Madam Tussauds with the waxworks but also the London Dungeon. The shopping is also amazing with every shop you could ever imagine along the high streets in the centre of the city, and also plenty of small businesses which you can find dotted around the city that you can find some great deals in. Travel is great around the city with the underground, which I always see as a bit of an adventure using!

London! Otherwise known as the capital of England, is the most advance, viberant city in England. There are so many unique features to the city many people come from all over to embrace the popular attractions. Among the attractions there is the London eye, which is a great experience, for both children and adults alike. The streets are always jam packed of busy business men and women, making a very lively place to be. If your a fan of shopping, London has a whole range of differenciated shops to choose from despite what kind of budget you have. Id recommend taking the tour bus for site seeing if you ara a first time visitor as the sites will blow you away, is also means you can keep picture evidence and look back at the memories you once had of london. There are also some impressive art galleries, There are also many bars and nightclubs to choose form and some very sophisticated restuarents if you want to grab a bite to eat, the prices are expensve though, so if you do come here be prepared to spend a little more than usual, but believe me its well worth the money. I really like London, and i feel that those who live in Britain should experience this very lively city.

London is so wel known all over the world, for it being the capital along with Big Ben, London Eye, Buckingham Palace and of course Oxford Street. The attractions in London are never ending, whether you want shopping, site seeing, tourist attractions, nightlife, food, museums, or parks, London has it all. It makes a great weekend away and I love to go and see the shows on the West End when I go to London. The city is so large, it is a good job there is an underground system and buses. I think if you have never been to London, you have never lived!

I have visited London many times and I think it is an amazing city. The city is very multicultural and vibrant and attracts a lot of tourists. The city has lots of tourist attractions including the London eye, the tower of London, The houses of parliament, the royal palace and the tower of London. As well as the free to enter Science and History museums which are a must visit. The city is very diverse in terms of the architecture from the old St Pauls Cathedrale to the new modern skyscrapers in the city. London has many large venues for hosting music and sport including the Millenium Dome, the newly built Wembley Stadium and the royal opera house. The west end of London has many theatres to go and see plays which can be expensive but I have enjoyed going to the. The success of the city has helped it to win the Olympic games and and olympic park is under construction for this. One of the bad things about London is the congested transport networks, I find the London underground to be very convenient however it is not rare for lines to be closed off and at rush hour the trains get very packed. This is also true for the buses which are often overcrowded. Getting a black cab taxi is expensive but is often convenient. The city has many good bars and restaurants to offer, for nightlife I would recommend going to covent garden which is always very lively and fun. Trafalgar square is also a good place to go in the evening for clubs and bars. In my opinion this is one of the best cities in the world

I love visiting this capital city! The landmarks are distinctive, unforgettable and I enjoy it every time I visit. I love getting lost here which happens most of the time lol! The city is tourists heaven with places to go, see and do so being bored is never an option. A list as log as your arm of attractions makes London an unmissable city. The house of parliament, St Pauls Cathedral, London Bridge, Big ben, The London eye, The Tower of London, the palace, the Natural history museum and much much more are must sees on any visit. The mix of old and modern architecture give London a real sense of history and progression. Even if you''''re not one for sight seeing, there is a wealth of entertainment from gigs at the O2 arena to theatre at the Globe or west end to sport at the brand new Wembley Stadium there is something for everyone. The night life is brilliant with hundreds of bars and clubs to choose from. The transport network is good despite some criticism as although people complain about to cramped conditions on the tube etc. it is a problem that will be encountered in any major city with so many people needing to get from A to B. This is an extremely exciting city to visit.

London can only be summed up in one word, WOW! Its fantastic!
The capital of the city, London is huge. Im forever getting lost, its a nightmare but at the same time, i end up finding new places here there and everywhere that i was unaware existed. This city is so viberant and jam packed full of character, it crazy. The nightlife is wonderful, and are the restaurents, bars and pubs. There is much to see and do, including taking a trip on the London Wheel, which is a great experience, and there are plenty of shops for those who want to get the latest looks.

INCREDIBLE. i have never experienced a place as amazing as London. There is so much to choose from including fascinating, historical areas ranging too hardcore night clubs. There is the oer of london to venture into and you can witness the world famous london theatre performances. It is an extremely large place so it may not be easy for the young or elderly but there is simple, straight forward public transport. So moving around london shouldnt be a problem. One of my favourite places is covent carden which is full of incredible performances and really nice restaurants. It is also full of shops witht the best clothing around. Another advantage is that it is very close to some great theatres. My visits have all been spectacular and i hope everyone elses will be to. I highly recommend this for all who wish to have a great day

LONDON, you do not want to come here by yourself, come as a group as it is dangerous. Apart from that, its one of the greatest cities in the world, the place to come if you want to make tons of money. My experience of London is going to Madame Tussauds where are all the waxworks of famous celebrities are, you can go there and take photos with you''re favourite singer or your hero/footballer, whoever you want from David Beckham to Britney Spears. London has the best nightlife, too many night clubs to mention. Its also a hot spot for top musicians to play, the London Astoria is one of the top venues, theres always a good band playing one week or the other. London is cramped with commuters and young students studying university, great place to just hang out for a day or two with your friends.
For the tourists, theres so many you want to see, you wont have time, you''ll need at least a week to fully LEARN london, theres the millenium wheel, london tower and bridge, madame tussauds, buckingham palace. so many places, so little time. best time to come is probably in april where the weather is fairly decent.

If you live, or ever come, to England you must visit the capital city, London. Its the most amazing place with tons of variety. You can visit the centre where its busy and buzzing with people and a great nightlife or you can visit the outskirts where its much more quiet, peaceful and beautiful country side to see. It has great theatres, museums and venues especially now its home to the new and amazing O2 arena. Camden is also a must see with all its markets of clothes crafts and gifts, i could spend hours there. Theres something for elder, aldults, teens and kids alike. A wonderful place to visit.

London is the capital of England and very very big. In itself it is a great tourist attraction but it also houses some of the best known monuments and attractions in not only England but in the world. To name but a few: Madame Tussauds, The Millenium Eye, Buckingham Palace, Harrods, Nelsons Column and Downing Street.

As any capital city is it is always full of tourists and it is very multi-cultural. There are many many fantastic restaurants as well as many rubbish ones but it is fun sorting through them. The best places for young edgy fashion is Camden and Shoreditch these are also the places at the centre of the London music scene which is very well thought of.

It is famously expensive to live in London and rent is crazy money as are pints. The best high street shops can be found on Oxford Street but for more individual boutiques ad vintage shops try Brick Lane or Covent Garden.

The Capital city of the UK is one of my favourites in the world to visit. Unrivalled for the enormous mixture of architecture, cultures, people, history and attractions, London truly has something for everyone! There are a number of attractions both old and new, from the Tower of London and Buckingham Palace to the London Eye and Science Museum. In fact, a tourist can get away with spending very little money by visiting the free museums like the Natural History, Victoria and Albert and Science Museum and just viewing famous old buildings from the outside. If you want to spend more money, then Madame Tussauds and the London Eye are both worth visiting. Getting around to these places shouldnt be hard either, with one of the best transport systems in the world in operation. Youre never too far away from a Tube station and with the new Oyster cards paying is easy peasy. Buses also run regularly but if you want more privacy then taxis are pretty much everywhere. For accommodation youre spoilt for choice with hundreds of hotels most of which at a reasonable price. On the other hand, if you wish to live here then its a different matter. Property is extraordinarily expensive even for renting, and some areas are notoriously tough. Nevertheless, London is perfect for tourists and no.1 place to visit in Britain.

London With a population of just under eight million, London is Europe''s largest city, with the the famous River Thames.
im a regular visitor to london and i say its well worth visiting at least once, but it sometimes its overcrowded cities could start to get you mad!

if you live in the UK, its well worth visiting now and again every year or so for the art exhibitions, concerts, shows etc.
You could spend days just shopping in London too because of its big and famous shopping malls with the latest clothes and things.

But it can become a bad place because even though it is a Nice to visit, lots of things to do, but it can be abit expensive. Great (but overpriced) transport
network and some really great and famous restaurants to visit.

London is the biggest and best City in the England. The President lives there and the queen and there are loads of clubs, restaurants, cinemas and other stuff. But london is great because of the people have different personnalties to people out of London! They have Big Ben, Maddame Tuassauds, London Dungeons and lots of other big attractions. I personaly think London isnt better than Las Vegas! But it is still a great town and run well.

London probably doesn''t even need to be reviewed it''s so generally acknowledged as a really amazing city. There is insane amounts going on in London, whether it''s theatre, museums, art, shopping, night-life, festivals etc. One day is not enough to see London, my favourite parts though are looking in on camden, walking along the embankment and fabric. There are loads of nightclubs obviously but I think fabric is incredible having been to it for the first time a few weeks ago. Amazing amazing.

In London the main attraction is the London Eye it is exellent because you can see over the whole of London. It is also bad if you are scared of heights. Buckingham Palace is another main attraction , you can only see it from the outside. It has 112 rooms in it !! amazing!!! The most exciting activitie was the duck bus , first of all you go in the River Thames because the bus turns into a boat then u come out of the water and have a tour round London. It was really good because you get to see all the lights swithched on in the streets. It is an amazing experience. Also BIg Ben and harrods the biggest shop in the uk possibly!!!

I think London is a wonderfull city. It has some absoloutely fantastic sites to see. Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, The O2 Arena, Wembley and hundreds more beautiful attractions. You really need a long day here if you want to see quite alot off atractions and have a fantastic day out. There are hundreds of nice restaurants all over the city and there are hundreds of fast food or take-away places. They are cheap and quick to get served. The traffic in this city is horrifc. It takes hours to get in and out. The city is always buisy even when the weather is bad, so it can be a bit stressfull when you go into the city. There are loads of places to stay the night. Some very expensive hotels and some very cheap hotels like the travel Inn or something like that. You can get great views from the top of some of the attractions and you can take a really nice boat ride along the beautiful river thames. I would definatley recommend you come to this truly fantastic city and you shoudl definatley take your camera along with you. Great day out with your family. I would give it a 9/10.

In London there is loads and loads to do because it is so big. There is a massive building apartment but it is a massive shop with loads of big shops in , it is called Harrods. London!! There is absolutely Loads to do here and see here, for everyone too, so you can never get bored!(apart from people who live there). As it is a capital, it is bound to be full of tourists, at all times, and so there are loads of attractions From the Buckingham palace, Harrods, the London eye, where you get amazing views of the whole of London, so this is a definite thing to do, if you are in London. Itts also just fun to go down all the main streets, like Oxford Street, which is obviously famous for its shopping, and the TOP SHOP branch here is actually amazing. You can then go to Leicester square, Trafalgar square and see all the sights, so there is actually endless amounts to do. Quite alot of the museums in London are actually free to enter, such as the National science museum and the discovery museum. There are lots and lots of cool places to eat, all over, there are quite posh restaurants down in Covent Garden, which is also full of shops, cobbled streets, i came here last December and they had a really cool market too!! I would also advise going to Camden town, as there are really cool and funky stalls selling scarves etc. Going out in London is also very good, and there are loads of bars and nightclubs to choose from, though it is very expensive!! I think getting around London is very easy, there are tubes, buses all around, so there really isnnt any problems at all!!

There is so much to do,especially in central london: buckingham palace..., the london eye.. the tower bridge... big ben... madam tusards... and much more!!! London is absolutely fantastic for shopping.. has absolutely everything and anything!! London never fails.. no matter what you are looking for.. and its all close together - oxford street is the most popular place for shopping though!! There are tubes that lead to every part of london.. and they are really cheap to use.. and with the tube pass you can go absolutely anywheer in london.. no limits! The night life is top of the range.. clubs scattered everywhere and something for everyone and every taste!!

When i last went to london with the family for a one day there was so much to do i could hardly fit it all in. When i was there the first thing i did was Kensington Palace Gardens. This is where diana used to live. The building was really old and there was loads of historical facts inside. There was also a remeberance book in which to write in. After that i went and had a look at Buckingham Castle, although we didn''t go inside because we had to much too do, it very nice and worth a visit inside. After that we went to the London eye which was amazing. ANYBODY GOING TO LONDON HAS TO GO IN THE LONDON EYE. You could see for miles out of the widow. If anybody wants to visit London but only wants to do it for a day i would reccomend a ride called the duck tour. It is a car and a boat which drives around London and on the River Thames. You can see all the main attractions from just the river. Because it was so amazing i recommend people who go there to stay for two or three days cause it is amazing and you can have propper look around. AND JUST REMEMBER GO TO HARRODS.

London is truly amazing. People who live there probably won''t agree but I really love it. I haven''t been for years now but am desperate to go back again. I want to go on the London Eye, it wasn''t there the last time I went! The culture in London is really good, there are many art galleries, my particular favourite is the National Gallery. Its amazing and has some beautiful paintings in as well as a lot of very famous ones. You are not allowed to take photos (spoil sports) but they have postcards and posters on sale at their shops. Tate Gallery is also worth a visit. I am desperate to go back to London to visit the Tate Modern as that was not there when I went last either.
The underground is very handy for getting you from one end of London to the other as it is a very big place. However the underground is not a pleasant place to be! It is dirty, smelly and crammed with people. I find it very scary.
There are some other great sightseeing places in London such as Buckingham Palace, Downing Street, Trafalgar Square and many movie locations. My favourite is in Notting hill where you can actually visit the Bookshop Hugh Grant owned in the film. Lovely!

london is a fantastic place to visit. as well as all the sights and places to visit in the city centre such as the london eye, madame toussauds, big ben etc. there are also alot of places to go and things to see in other parts of london too such as the museums in south kensington. i used to love visiting london when i lived in scotland but now i live in london i dont like it quite as much. although i still agree that london is a fantastic place to visit i hate living here and i am desperate to get out. it seems that noone in london has any manners at all! when i was pregnant, whenever i went to a bus or tube noone offered to let me sit down, people push past you with no regard for your safety. it just seems that in london people only care about themselves and their wellbeing and have no regard for other people and have no manners or human compassion at all. in fact i actually know a woman who, when she was pregnant she was on the tube and almost missed her stop so she got up and rushed to the door but as she stepped out of the door she felt faint as she had gotten up too fast (its hot in the underground stations) and fainted! when she came around she woke up with people just stepping over her!!! finally she was helped up by a couple of mothers who obviously had some heart. there are many people on london who do have manners and do care about other people im not saying that everyone in london is horrible but its just that the majority of people in london are grumpy and self centred.

I visited london with my family a few months ago. It was really nice and there were lots of things to do. ,The variety of food is amazing. People are kind and helpful. You can say all the world cultures meet in one city .Great transport network and ofcourse it''s overcrowd. Two things you will not like ,the weather is not that good and things like accomodation and transport are really expensive. You could spend many days just shopping and looking at the many places like the Big Ben.It''s one of the best western european cities. It reminds me of Cairo.

London i a very great place if you are looking to shop, go to the theatre or just to look at attractions. There is plenty to do. If you want to go shopping then there are many designer shops and highstreet ones. As london is the capital city then all of the shops there are going to be bigger and better than the ones in your home town. If you are looking to see a show there are so many theatres there that you wont miss any film that is on! There are lots of attractions too like the london eye or the tate modern etc. Overall i found my experience in london amazing every time i go.

I love London, as a child I used to live in one of the boroughs on the outskirts and we later moved to Kent which I hated. If I could afford it I would live there again!. There is so much to see and do, they have invested so much money into tourism now. However they need to invest money into the poorer parts as well now. The London Eye is the newest attraction I have yet to visit (I am not brave enough yet) There is Madame Tussuad which is full of wax works and really look lifelike, its a real prize for them to make a wax work of you, so the celebrities all want to be encompassed in wax!
Everywhere is accessible by train or bus or tube and these can all get very busy and scary if you are unused to it. Buy a travelcard for your travel, THEN YOU DON''T NEED TO SPEND ANY MORE MONEY HOPPING ON AND OFF BUSES AND TUBES.
The riverboat trip is gorgeous and takes you up and down the Thames under all the bridges and you get to see loads of different famous land marks. If you can go and see a theatre show then I would, there are so many to choose from and I am currently looking forwared to seeing Billy Elliott and Grease at some point soon (need a babysitter first)

We recently went to the Natural History Museum and will visit the Science museum next time. It didn''t cost us a lot on the train for 6 of us either as they do deals on the train for families travelling to London.
Covent garden is a thriving bustling place with street acts that enthrall the kids and amaze the adults, deffo pop by here if you can just for the sheer difference !!

I lived in London for 3 years. I moved there from Bath thinking that the salarys would be much better in the city which they were but I found that it was all relative as the cost of living was also high. Its a great place to go if you want to meet new people and enjoy a lively night life as the streets and bars are bustling. London has clearly not been informed of the credit crunch! I find myself having to walk around the place with my hands on my hips so that I can elbow poeple out of the way. Yes, its that busy! The tube system is pretty reliable with tubes coming every 2-3 mins in central London and only a few mins longer if you are living on the outskirts. They can get very hot and busy in the rush hour and in the summer months it can be really quite unbearable as theres also no ventilation on the tubes. It can be a bit of a stressful place to be if your a driver as the car journeys to and from London are very busy and slow. Londoners arnt to polite when it comes to driving and tend to push in front of you and get really close to your car, and Taxis, which are used to the busy roads ruthlesly cut you up and it can be quite scarey. If you dont intend to drive however the tubes are really easy to work out and most stations are signposted or have staff that you can ask who are always friendly and helpful. Do keep your belongings close to you as London is renowned for pit pocketers.

London really is an amazing city. The transport system is amazing in my opinion, i am sure a lot will disagree but as a vsitor and someone who has lived and worked in London i find it amazing. It is so cheap in comparison to the small town i live in.for the 3 it costs me to go a ile in to town and a mile back i could almost travel the length of London or halfway to the cost of an all day pass!!!
There is so much to do in London that i wouldnt possibly be able to write it all as you could have got on a plane from Australia and been in London before i had finished rabbling on!!!
The Museums including the Natural History, Imperial war museum and the science Museum are just a few. There are also the Beautiful parks, Hyde park, Regents Park, Holland Park and Battersea. The obvious Tourist attractions like Buckingham Palace and 10 Downing street are worth a look for sure.
The shopping areas area all so a must for anyone who likes to indulge, Oxford Street is home to many of the High streets Flagship stores and really are Huge!!!!
There is a magic about London,it will always have a plcae in my heart!

London, our county''s capital is a huge bustling city with lots of areas varying in size, style and culture. It certainly is not a place I would want to live in as it is far too crowded and busy. The tube system is extemely efficient but also quite scary. Everyone in London is in a rush to be somewhere, they all push past you without apologising and it can be quite scary at times. I found people very rude and unhelpful whilst there. On a good note though, there are hundreds of amazing shops. Oxford Street is a must. Shoppping is very expensive but lovely to look. Knightsbridge was fantastic - Harrods is definitely a must see. I was in absolute awe at the outside and inside of the building. It is a truly amazing experience. I particularly enjoyed Covent garden with its market square theme. There are lots of attractions to see in London such as the london eye, madame tussauds, the natural history museum and many more which are all spectacular. You could quite easily spend a month here and stil not see everything.London really does have a really good mix of cultures and styles. Food and drink is readily available in a variety of styles from a huge variety of restaurants and bars. Leicester square is always bustling with energy and people. A really amazing experience. There are lots of lovely old buildings with fabulous architecture and of course London is steeped in history. Well worth a visit.

London is an amazing capital city. Being a country girl, visiting a city like this was definatley intimidating at first but you soon get used to the hussle and bussle of the city life. The range of shops and restaurants on every corner caters for everyones preferences and are all high quality. There are thousands of tourist souveneir shops to chose from and thousands of tourist attractions to visit such as the london eye and big ben. Being the capital city however, everything is very expensive. There are also thouands of hotels and travel lodges to stay in all round the city and thousands of theatres with different popular shows playing every week!

I know London is a big place and you can''t really comment on a place well without seeing the whole lot but my first impressions of London is that it''s an extremely lonely place to be with a really fast pace of life. No-one speaks and always keep their head down when walking or should I say running places. It is also very expensive and you should really think about which limb you are going to sell to afford a holiday here. There is lovely visitors attractions, with Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square and many more places. I really liked walking along the River Thames just to try and escape the busy lifestyle for a while.

It is a great place to get about easily with regular buses, trains and the Tube but very easy to get lost in it all and with no-one willing to help it can be very confusing and over-whelming. I always thought I would lap up the atmosphere, the shops and the pubs and clubs but by the time evening drew in I felt wiped out and very lonely, I wanted to be back at home with people I knew and my small traditional country pubs.

I will try and stay out of London as much as possible as I really didn''t like the feeling the place gave me, the thought of never knowing your neighbours scares me and how impossible it would be to make friends makes me very incomfortable. Bigger is not always better
