If you like markets there is a market called The Roman Road market just off bow station where you can buy all sorts of nik naks, fruit and veg and clothes. the market is open on friday''s and saturdays the market run along the whole of the Roman road. I remember years ago they had a traditional pie and eel place with a lovely couple who used to run it. Bow is in the East End of london in the borough of tower hamlets, over the years Bow has become very devoloped with lots of flats popping up every where, many different people of all different race and colours have moved in making Bow very cosmopolitan and slighty trendy. apart from the market I didn''t find much else to do there.
