Although most people I know find Brentford to be a little boring I still know of many things to keep many people entertained, Brentford is in the London Borough of Hounslow, although there are not very many shops there is always the leisure centre which has a fantastic water slide, wave machines and is fun for both adults and children.
Watermans cinema still also attracts alot of visitors although I personally have never been there.
Syon house is nearby which is fun for all the family although sadly the famous butterfly house has been removed due to low funds being unable to keep it open for the public, I''m pleased I managed to take my children there before they closed and was very sad to see it go.
Gunnersbury park is nearby fun for all the family and very enjoyable.
As is Brenford Dock.
Brentford Football team play at Griffin Park Brentford which attracts alot of fans when they play at home.
Brentford also has a library though I have 2 that are more local to me so have never used this one.
Brentford Steam museum shows old running steam engines and my boys had a very enjoyable day when I took them to visit earlier this year.
Public transport is easy to access in Brentford with Boston Manor, Gunnersbury and south Ealing being the local tube stations and Brentford, Kew Bridge and Syon Lane being the nearest Railway stations, So as you can see Brentford still does have some interesting points of attracting its visitors.
