Chiswick is an area of West London, Chiswick High Road contains a mix of retail, restaurants, food outlets and parks, the streets in Chiswick are alot larger then others so encourages outdoor seating with their restaurants which can be very nice on those long summer evenings for dinner or lunch.Although In 2007 Chiswick was voted the 8th most expensive place to live in the uk so may not appeal to everyone especially those on a tight budget.
Chiswick is situated close to the North Circular Road and the M4 motorway, with the M4 providing a direct connection to Heathrow Airport and the M25 motorway.
Chiswick is served by the London Underground District Line which has 4 stations including Chiswick Park, Gunnersbury, Stamford Brook and Turnham Green. There are also 2 national Rail lines.
The southern border of Chiswick runs along the River Thames, which is crossed in this area by Chiswick Bridge, Barnes Railway Bridge, Kew Railway Bridge and Kew Bridge.
Chiswick has some good schools nearby. Also some lovely parks and shops.

Chiswick is a really lovely area of London. Out of the centre of everything but still in a fabulous location that you get to places very quickly if need be. It may not have the best shops or attractions but it still is a lovely area and very leafy as well which is rare for a number of places in London. Loads of things to get involved in if you live there such as sports clubs including yoga, pilates, martial arts, tennis, rugby, football etc. There are also loads of good schools in the area including Latymer and St. Pauls. generally a nice place to live.
