I have lived in Enfield for many years and am very happy! We have a great new Shopping area with all the major retailers, plenty of car parks, trains and buses to get there too! We have lovely well kept Parks and places of interest like Capel Manor and Forty Hall. There are nice Resturants of many tastes to try and a nice nightlife (although not too much!). Enfield is a nice distance from Central London, and is easily accessable via the M25. Enfield hold a lovely day out once a year in the Town Park, worth visiting. During the school holidays they have a mascot in the Shopping Area with little fun games for the children to earn Chocolate coins!

This is the best place i have ever lived. They have amasing shopping and a great selection of good clothes store inculding all the best high street shops for men, women and children along with all the usual shops you would need. there is a good night life and good places to eat out at in this town whatever you fancy.
It has two train stations and has a direct train that goes into london and at the other, one that goes up to stevenage. The town does have very limited parking so is more practical to get one of the many buses that goes through it or depending on where you live, walk.
Its easy to find your way around the town and housing estates, but all the residents are friendly enough and dont mind stopping to give you directions.
i have recently been looking for houses in this town and the prices as great and are not too bad for how close you are to the capital!!!!!
theres loads to do in the town, they have a nice river park so you can feed the ducks and swarns with the children or go down to the local cinema and see a film. i would definately recommed this town to live in

I have lived in Enfield for a few years now and I would of always said its a nice place with everything you expect in a normal high street; WHSmith all the way down to MacDonalds and HMV. The bonus is within the last year the shoppihg arcade has been drastically opened up introducing far more shops and make it less and less essential to catch the train into London.
The town is also situated to a nice and large park equipped with its own little river flowing through and some nice little ducks.
a short busride up towards the motorway brings you to 2 large retail parks including one of the largest cinemas i''ve ever been in.
Overall Enfield is a good town for a pleasent day out.

Enfield is a great place to shop, there is plenty to keep yourself occupied for a few hours. The shopping centre has been newly refurbished/extended and is really nice, clean and tidy. There is a wide range of shops which suit most people, they are all mainstream and if you are looking for somewhere with independent shops you will probably be disappointed, but that is not the end of the world.
There are a number of parks nearby the shopping centre, which you can visit for a picnic if the weather is nice enough. There is a stream which runs through the town, its often nice to feed the ducks.
The schools in the area are often seen as quite good.
Parts of Enfield are quite up market whilst others are in need of some regeneration. There are a number of good cinemas, bowling alleys and a quasar which is great fun. Most of the people are nice enough however I would not always feel safe walking around on my own on a Friday night......that might say more about me than the area though!
There is plenty to do in Enfield overall it is a nice place and there are lots of things to do!
