A beautiful town on a serene coastal location. It is close to other coastal locations including Castlerock, Portrush and Portballentray. there are many ice cream shops on the promanade including morellis, famous for italien icecream. the townhall has many community based activities and has music festivals every year. portstewart is popular with young people with a lively weekend night culture and also with the elderly because of the relaxing atmosphere. great views over the altantic coast where you can walk around the the nun''s walk or let children play in the playpark a great place to visit.

Portstewart is one of my must visit places on the Antrim Coast. Once you have recovered from the amazing sea views and the stunning countryside the town itself is lovely. It is fantastic holiday base with the best value to be had in the Bed and Breakfast accommodation. With Bushmills and the Giants Causeway just along the coast road. But the golf course is one of the best links courses in the world and worth a round or two. Midweek is better value here too. If you like sea fishing some of the local fishermen are always willing to take you out so don''t be shy and ask.
