This is a place I loved taking my girls to for a day out when they were younger. It was a quieter and more relaxed town to go to rather than somewhere such as Great Yarmouth which was and still is really busy during the summer.
As well as having a lovely beach this also has a lovely selection of shops to browse around in. There is also many lovely fish and chip shops along with little cafes and bars.
One of the best things that I used to love having here was all the fresh shell fish that they had for sale. Nothing could beat how fresh this was and still to this day I don't think it can. Fresh crab and shellfish are so delicious from here.
A lovely little town to visit here is totally recommended to all who want a relaxing and stress free day out.

I love going to this seaside resort now and I also loved it as a child. My Uncle and Auntie used to take me here and my Uncle and I used to go crabbing, it was great fun.
This also has a good selection of shops that we always have a wander around before we headed of to the beach.
There are also some lovely cafe's and fish and chip shops here. There is one in particular that we always go to for our fish and chips as the fish is so fresh.
Carparking is no problem when you come to visit here as there is penty of spaces available but during peak season these tend to fill up quite quickly.
Overall though this place makes a lovely day out for everyone.

I have been to Cromer a few times now both as family days out as both a child and now with my own family aswell as going on camping holidays.
Cromer has been famous for crabbing there but although I was always fascinated by this never got to try it.
This is a lovely town to visit as it has a lovely shopping area, not many large shops here though, along with a few amusements, cafes and bars dotted around and also their pier. If you go on this then their are spectacular views to be had of the coastline.
There is plenty of parking but I have found this all to be a short walk away from both the beach and shops. This place has many good qualities that makes a good day out for all ages.

I have very fond memories of Norfolk and Cromer as this is somewhere i used to holiday with my dad.

A lasting memory for anyone visiting Cromer but surely be going crabbing, Selecting the bait then sitting on the sea edge dangling a rod with your bucket at the ready is such a lasting memory!!!

There is a lot to enjoy in Cromer, be it the pier, museums, or the lovely stretch of beach, it will surely appeal to all.

If you didn't manage to catch a crab of decent proportions then you must buy one of the famous Cromer crabs... they really can't be beaten!

There a plenty lot of places to eat and drink, and all tasted and budgets seem to be catered for which is great. Shopping for essentials and holiday souvenirs is great fun and a must for all tourists.

Perhaps Cromer's greatest appeal is the atmosphere it provide... it really is such a relxed and friendly place and so welcomiing to all its visitors!

Crabbing in cromer was one of the best memories of my childhood we used to go along the pier and our dad used to teach us how to do it. If we didnnt have time for whatever reason we used to love just watching others doing it and we would get so excited when people caught them. The beaches were lovely and there was so much around for you to wonder off and do.

Cromer , when I think of Cromer I remember going crabbing, happy times :) With its pier and its two museums, wide open beaches, spectacular cliffs, its famous pier show, its cinema with three screens, there''s lots to enjoy in Cromer. The streets of Cromer today are little removed from how they looked in the Victorian era. Most of the great landmarks, many of which were created by the well-to-do Victorian "summer timers", still stand as familiar to the holiday makers of today as they were to their counterparts a hundred years ago. There a quite a lot of places to eat and drink, the atmosphere in Cromer is so relaxed and friendly. Everything is well kept and clean and tidy.

Cromer is a lovley town to visit in the summer months or if your lucky you should stay at one of the many caravan places they have on the cliff tops it has a beautifull scenery. cromer is not that big and almost goes in to being a ghost town in the winter months with only locals keeping it open. it has very old building there which have a lot of historic value to them. if you go be sure to try a cromer crab some of the best around and im sure you will agree !! the beach spreads for miles and wil make a childs day, it really is a family place and you will find plenty of cafes and bistros to grab a cake n cuppa, also there are lots of sea side shops selling bric a brac and loads of charity shops to. its a definate drive along the coast you must do if ever in the area and then you will see for your selfs

A beautiful traditional English seaside resort. For such a small town Cromer is bustling with things to see and do. The town centre is a thriving busy area in the summer months full of a wide variety of shops and restaurants. It is of course full of the usual ice cream stands, fish & chip shops and of course the local delicacy - Cromer Crab. We ate in several of the restaurants and take aways whilst there and they were all good. (Excellent friendly staff, good quality food and not too pricey either). There are lots of lovely little gifty type shops that sell lots of unusual items and are definately worth a look. There is a small shop selling locally produced one off pieces of art which are pricey but very nice to look at. It also has a Morrisons just on the outskirts of the town if you prefer to buy your own and cook.

It has the stereotypical English seaside promenade and pier. You can buy "crabbing" gear from many of the local shops and go crabbing off the pier which we enjoyed immensely. The beach itself is also nice. It is sahinglyu towards the top but mainly sand which is good for the kids to play on. The sea is very cold but also quite calm during the summer so is suitable for familes, couples and singles alike. The beach is also very big and we never had any issues finding a place to perch whilst there.

Cromer is also ideally placed in Norfolk with lots of other local attractions just a short drive or train journey away. Try Sheringham or Great Yarmouth for a day out as we found quite a bit to do in both places. We had a lovely holiday here and would recommend to anyone.

Cromer is a very Friendly little Place and i remember for the beaches and the pier, Which as a child Seemed to go on for miles,
But now i no it doesnt, The town is quite old looking compared to others But is well worth a visit if your close,Some good shopping
facilities and good bargins to be had, The beaches are also Better than others Local , Cromer is more of a site seeing place to me but maybe
You may feel different but there is some very Pretty Places, Just out side Cromer there is a zoo which is of great value and a must see if you
have children they will really enjoy it, Id say to take a picnic as the food prices are rather expensive and it will safe queues and money .
There is a museum which has the life boat memories included id definatly go and see this is you have time.
