Hunstanton is another of the quieter resorts for family holidays in Norfolk. This is at the top of North Norfolk and is surrounded in total beauty landscapes.
It has a good selection of local shops with a few take away food shops along with a few restaurants.
This is a more laid back town unlike Great Yarmouth or Lowestoft.
I have been here on a Caravaning holiday a few times and right near this site is a little fun fair too which is good for extra entertainment for families.
People are friendly and welcoming here whenever you visit and this has made it more of a pleasurable stay for me.
Parking has never been a problem for me whenever I've gone into the town centre although during the peak of the summer this can get a little busier but on the whole it's still a lovely place to visit.

Hunstanton is like a step back in time for me when it comes to attractions. It's much quieter than places such as Great Yarmouth.
They offer a few amusement arcades, a good selection of shops, a holiday park for both caravaning and camping and a fun fair.
This is another coastal town but compared to other places is seems quite spread out and this makes a fair bit of walking.
There are a few food places for you to stop at if you want something to eat. I have tried a chicken place here a couple of years ago and for the price it was really nice.
The holiday park here is really nice but they basic entertainment and again this was quite dated which reminded me of my childhood holidays.
This is easy to find especially if you're travelling by car.

I have been to Hunstanton a couple of times for family holidays with my children.
This is quite a small place compares to the likes of Great Yarmouth. Saying that though they still have plenty to offer residents and visitors.
There is a lovely beach, along with little funfair, tourist shops, cafes, many different sorts of shops and a couple of supermarkets situated on the outskirts of Hunstanton.
This is quite a spread out town though and does take some walking to get to where you want to.
They do also offer a few amusement arcades for people of which we've always had to visit with our children.
This does seem a little dated for a holiday destination but nevertheless it still makes a great holiday for both young and old.

Hunstanton is a small little town i dont like it much here maybe because i have always been used to going to skegness etc which is what i imagined this to be like but it really wasnt there was a few shops and a little fair and a few pubs. i really see this place as being for the older generation who are looking for a relaxing time. Not a place id go back to in a hurry.

this is a seaside town in norfolk. i try and come here at least once a year with my family if not more because it is only an hours drive away. It has a great beach which is sandy and very clean and beautiful cliffs. it has some places to eat out in and shops on the sea front selling things like candy floss, ice-creams, bucket and spades, doughnuts and sea side rock plus much much more. There is much to do on the sea front like bowls, a fun fair, pitch and putt and a premenade. there is also a sea life sanctury which i have visited a lot over the years. it is a great place to take the children and they is always vouchers online to help pay for entrance, it is a must to go and see if you have the time.
you can go on the classic donkey rides on the beach and they have boat rides out to the sea, prices vary and the queues for the boat ride can get rather big so queue early or prebook so your disapointed. there is also a land train ( think thats what its called) so you can see hunstanton.
they parking is very good and its right next to the seafront, making it easy to pop back to the car if need be and prices are good, some places are free. a great day out all round.

Hunstanton is one of Norfolk''s smaller seaside resorts. I find it very quiet and peaceful. There are lots of lovely hotels and B & B''s to stay in at a range of standards and prices so there is somewhere for everyone. They have a small shopping centre with a nice variety of shops. There is lots to do for kids and adults, they have a pier with arcades, amusements, some fairground rides, the seal life centre and seal sanctuary and much more. They also do boat trips out to seal island which is amazing. Prices here are about average for this kind of place. The beach is really long and makes a fantastic walk. You will need some kind of footwear on as there is lots of shingle and mussel beds. There are better beach areas further down the beach which are sandier and more suitable for people with children. It is a really nice beach and we had a lovely weekend there.

Hunstanton is a lovely little town about 15 miles from kings lynn on the a149.
When the sun is shining hunstanton is a fantastic place to be, there is no better feeling than sitting on the green with the sea view ,a band playing in the bandstand. There is a wide range of places to get refreshments from little cafes to fish and chips on the prom! u name it its in hunstanton.
Theres a handful of different arcades to part you from your hard earned pennies which are paticularly useful for when the sun isnt shining!.
The local fair ground is by no means alton towers, but small kids will love it and you can alwaays get you rock and sweets from rocky thompsons!
hunstanton is also lucky enough to have its own sports centre with gym, family swimming pool with log flume, and even an outdoor all year round ice rink.
Also located in hunstanton is the sea life centre home to all sorts of animals and fish. Its main feature is the underwater tunnel where you can see sharks close up. It is also home to the seal sanctuary where they look after poorly seals before releasing them back into the sea.
There are two main supermarkets and a few little conveience store scattered about the town, and in the town centre a small selection of high street shops like boots and woolworths.
all in all hunstanton is a worth a visit, it may be tacky to some but kids will love a day by the sea.

Hunstanton is one of my favourite seaside towns to visit. Its hugely popular and gets very busy. Hunstanton has one of the nicest beaches to visit down this end of the coast.
There are plaenty of clean toilets and baby changing fascilities, which is a bonus!
It has all the attractions of a seaside town, its nice and well looked after beaches, the seafront with its many amusements, food stands with donuts and rock and candyfloss and ice creams....its a real family fun filled seaside town.
There is a wide selection of accomodation, B&B''s, hotels, holiday parks, so lots of places to stay if you want to visit for longer than a day.
Every year, Hunstanton hosts its own carnival, so be sure to check the website if you dont want to miss it! They also have lots of sport activities planned, and many other things, so be sure to check their website to see what they have got on and plan your visit around them.
There is a great little shopping town just a short wak from the beach, and regular markets are held on a Wednesday and a Sunday, so be sure to check it out and opick up some lovely local goods.
One thing that is a must do while visiting Hunstanton is to make sure you get on one of the boat trips to a nearby island and do some seal watching, its a fantatstic oppertunity to see some great wildlife!

Had a lovely day at Sunny Hunny today! Not been for ages and forgot how totally fantastic it was!.. massive beach (even though a bit stony), we had hours of fun playing and making sandcastles.... we even went on an expedition to the sea - it was miles away!.

Hunstanton is easy to VERY find, easy to park at and its also cheap parking too! Unlike other seaside places there''s not too many amusements, a few rides in the little fun fair, and plenty of your little knick-kack shops and bargain stores!

We had a lovely lunch over -looking the sea and of course it was the fish and chips - it has to be done. Plenty of public toilets, all kept really clean and tidy and therees benches to take a rest on (a must when we take Nanny and grand-dad with us. the beach is easily accessed by all with steps or ramps and big enough so you have got your own little space.

There is a life guard station and the areas for swimming etc are clearly marked. Hunstanton has a large public swimming pool, bingo hall and various places to eat, all in all a great day out!

I love visiting here and so do my children. We holiday in Heacham so Hunstanton is just a few miles down the road, we visit here for the shops, fair, sealife sanctuary and the kids love the beach with the ponies and the wash monster. There are lots of stalls for food, drink and gifts along the sea front There is also a market twice a week if the weathers nice, it''s a large market and sells lots of different items at good prices. There are lots of holiday and normal town shops to go in, including supermarkets and cash machines. I have my few favourites like the discount stores and the Joke shop, which is the largest joke shop in England. There''s plenty of places to eat and most of the cafe''s are reasonably priced, cafe''s when you can sit in or out or takeaway. There''s a swimming pool here. They have a pirate crazy golf course. The town has lots of arcades which i personally love and they have a fun fair with lots of rides for all ages from toddler to adults. On the fun fair it has arcades, places to eat, a tattooist and gift shops. There''s public toilets across a small road from the fun fair. There is a big hill grassed area near the beach to have picnics on or for the kids to run around. It''s a lovely place and we will always come back to visit.
